Hello! We're continuing to get more information about the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop. After the big Switch firmware update (20.0) we saw some good improvements to the eShop and we think (hope?) this will carry over to Switch 2. Does this mean that Nintendo is making good on their promise to improve the eShop? Here's why we are very optimistic!

Hi! We're so excited to have Monica on to talk to us about the Nintendo Switch 2 commercial featuring Paul Rudd. Monica worked on the Nintendo advertising team for over 10 years and knows all the insider details about how commercials like this get made. Even more fascinating is what a commercial like this means for Nintendo as a company. It's such an interesting conversation to dive into with someone who is actually an expert and knows this stuff inside and out so we hope you enjoy it. Did you like the ad with Paul Rudd?

Hello! Welcome to episode 167 of the Kit & Krysta Podcast. This week we wanted to dig into the topic of what Nintendo can do in the time left before Switch 2 launches to regain control over some of the negativity around the system. This launch has been a bit rocky for them and they've experienced some real highs and lows but there are still a few things they can do to really make sure the launch is as successful as possible. If we were still at Nintendo, these would be the things we would be proposing. Also in this episode we react and talk about the insider details on the Switch 2 ad featuring Paul Rudd and talk about the amiibo price hike - $40?! YIKES. We're also playing some fun new games and we wrap it all up with some amazing and insightful questions from our wonderful Patreon subscribers. All this and more is coming right up!

Hi! We got a big THIS IS FURUKAWA tweet today apologizing for the high demand of Nintendo Switch 2 in Japan. Over 2.2 million people in Japan have pre-ordered the system through the My Nintendo Store which is significantly more than Nintendo was expecting. What does this mean for us on the day before US pre-orders open? What does this mean for the availability of the system at launch and beyond? Is this about to be Nintendo's biggest launch ever? Good luck to everyone trying to get a pre-order tonight!

Hi! Today we wanted to chat (get it?) about GameChat on Nintendo Switch 2. This is a feature that Nintendo seems super duper excited about and have gone on to say that this is the defining feature for Nintendo Switch 2...but is it actually cool? We want to hear your thoughts about this so please tell us everything in the comments. What are your gaming habits? Will you be using GameChat on Switch 2?

Hello! Welcome to episode 166 of the Kit & Krysta Podcast. This week we'll be shifting our attention to something a bit more fun to talk about than tariffs! We're finally going to dig into the games currently announced for Switch 2. It's amazing how stacked the launch line-up is and it's a bit unfortunate that some of the excitement has been overshadowed by all the drama around the launch so far. We're going to be talking about the launch games and also comparing this to the Switch 1 launch line-up. Also in this episode, we'll be talking about some cool new games we're playing like Blue Prince and Capcom Fighting Collection 2! We also react to some news and confusion around the new Breath of the Wild Switch 2 Edition. We wrap it all up with some juicy questions from our Patreon subscribers. All this and more is coming right up!
