What do you think? Do you have a few things on your list that you need to see in this Direct to convince you to pick-up a Switch 2 and Mario Kart World? Let us know in the comments!

Hello! We want to dig into this complicated situation with tariffs and what Nintendo's options are for the Switch 2 launch now. Nintendo is for sure doing this exercise inside the company right now as they consider these options and ultimately make a decision on the best one for them. The one they choose will give show us what type of company they are and will play a role in deciding whether or not Switch 2 will have long-term success. What do you think? Which option would you pick?

Hello! We finally got some answers from Nintendo about pricing and some other mysteries about the Nintendo Switch 2 this morning through a number of interviews they did at the event last week. We break down everything Nintendo is saying but more importantly tell you if we actually believe them. We worked at Nintendo on the communications team for over a decade and our job used to be writing these answers for Nintendo spokespeople during interviews. We're definitely looking at this with a critical eye to determine if what they're saying is true or if they are trying distract us with marketing jargon. If you found any interesting nuggets from these interviews, leave it in the comments!

0:00 - Let's break down these interviews
8:01 - Nintendo's answers on pricing
17:38 - What Nintendo said about tariffs
22:03 - Mario Kart World pricing justification

Hi, the negative reaction around the pricing of Nintendo Switch 2 hardware and games such as Mario Kart World is dominating the conversation and overshadowing a lot of the information around the new system and games. We wanted to talk about how Nintendo might be reacting as this is happening especially since their Treehouse Live comments were flooded with fans demanding Nintendo to drop the price. Let's get into it!
