Hello and welcome to episode 139 of the Kit & Krysta Podcast! This week we're talking about a topic that has been on our minds for awhile and especially since we came back from Japan. We got to thinking that the most iconic Nintendo developers are rapidly approaching retirement age and will soon be leaving the company. If we think the Switch 2 lifecycle will be similar to the Switch, it means it will last about 7 - 8 years where many of these developers will be well over the age of 65. What does this mean for Nintendo and are they prepared for this eventuality? We dig into all of this on today's episode. Also in this episode, we have been playing so many games. We've beat The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and we started Metaphor ReFantazio after all the hype. We have some news and answer some great questions from our Patreon community. All this and more is coming right up!

0:00 - The end of an era is nigh
