Here is the second (of seven) compilation kept to tape length to kick-back and enjoy of 1995. This set is similar to the first, originally an hour determined at random by iTunes but cut off at the appropriate mark.

Now that I got the "themes" out of the way, here is the first compilation of seven starring songs/releases from 1995. In the revision I decided to keep episode at the 45-minute limit because cassettes remained the main way to distribute mixes.

This year was the peak for Tribute albums be it many bands covering one artist (Led Zeppelin, XTC) or one act doing their version of Pin Ups (Annie Lennox, Duran Duran). Plus, I had to throw in Mojo Nixon mocking Morrissey via something he had done live for years.

The new tradition of living in Austin carried over into 1995 with "too many movies" eating up my money most Friday nights and sometimes other evenings. This time, I've never saw two of these flicks, guess correctly and get a prize. It's my way of checking to see who is paying attention.

The never seen, recently revised 1995 mixes I half-heartedly started in early 1996, completed a few years ago…and tweaked until recently. This collection blends all the C&W influences I grew to enjoy through Austin and KGSR.
