Far-left documentary filmmaker Michael Moore has accused Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden of going after “white racist redneck votes” in his home state of Michigan after the former vice president accepted the endorsement of former Republican Governor Rick Snyder.

Writing in USA Today on Thursday, Snyder endorsed Biden, saying he can “bring back civility to the nation,” and also pointed to Biden’s “strong moral character and compassion.” This endorsement was accepted by the Biden campaign in a press release, much to Moore’s dismay.

Former NFL defensive end Marcellus Wiley said that he doesn’t believe white privilege exists during a discussion concerning the blowback over Steve Nash becoming the next head coach of the Brooklyn Nets.

“I don’t believe in white privilege, and I know that people will say, What are you talking about?’ The conversation of white privilege is a distraction that leaves racism and true power intact while you now attack it from social and other psychological measures, trying to pull on the emotions of white people. And try to guilt them into really trying to say that all of the things that they have inherited, all of the things that they have worked for, had some percentage of it to be based on their skin color.”

American voters’ trust in the national media and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to provide accurate information about the coronavirus pandemic has plummeted since March, according to a CBS poll published Sunday.

Roughly 54% of voters trust the CDC for reliable information about the virus, a 30 percentage point drop from March when 86% of voters said the same thing, the CBS poll showed. Fewer voters also trust the national media to provide good information about coronavirus, or COVID, according to the poll, which was conducted between Sept. 2-4 and sampled 2,493 registered voters nationwide.

N-B-A legend Charles Barkley unloaded on ESPN analyst Stephen Smith this week for suggesting that "white privilege" was responsible for the Brooklyn Nets hiring a white man as their new head coach.

"I was very disappointed with some of the guys on television today talking about 'white privilege,' very disappointed," Barkley said Thursday.

"They're like, 'Well, this doesn't happen to black guys.' I'm like, 'It happened to Doc Rivers, it happened to Jason Kidd, it happened to Derek Fisher.' So, I was really disappointed," he continued. "When you have a responsibility, especially when you have to talk about something serious like race, you can't be full of crap. You've got to be honest and fair."

Fox News contributor Trey Gowdy told “Sunday Morning Futures” that he assumes there will be no additional indictments arising from U.S. Attorney John Durham's review of the investigation into links between Russia and the 2016 Trump campaign.

Former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith pleaded guilty last month in federal court to making a false statement in the first criminal case arising from Durham’s probe, but Gowdy, a former federal prosecutor and chairman of the House Oversight Committee, said not to assume that more indictments are on the way.

That doesn't mean, however, that those in high positions at the FBI and Department of Justice will not face political punishment, he said.

The White House says Trump will stop in Jupiter, Florida, on Tuesday to remind voters there of his conservation and environmental protection efforts in the Everglades region.

The president will also hold a campaign rally Tuesday in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The National Fraternal Order of Police announced Friday morning it “unanimously” voted to endorse President Donald Trump for re-election.

“On behalf of the 355,000 members of the Fraternal Order of Police, we are proud to unanimously endorse @realDonaldTrump for President of the United States,” the police union tweeted.

According to its website, the Fraternal Order of Police is the world’s largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers.

“Public safety will undoubtedly be a main focus for voters in this year’s election,” National President Patrick Yoes said in a news release.

“President Trump has shown time after time that he supports our law enforcement officers and understands the issues our members face every day.”

He added, “The FOP is proud to endorse a candidate who calls for law and order across our nation.”

To make their endorsement decision, the FOP considered both Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s records.

Both campaigns answered a questionnaire from the FOP, which the organization distributed to members for consideration in July.

“During his first four years, President Trump has made it crystal clear that he has our backs,” Yoes said.
