Jeff is back from his elk hunt and boy was it a hunt!

Not to spoil the story, but not only did we get into his elk hunt, the good the bad, the learning but Kenny also is back!

Kenny, Jeff, and I have all been getting our bows ready for the season. While Jeff is going after Elk and Bear, Kenny and I are after whitetail. This leads into some debate about sights and broadheads!

The bulk of this episode is getting Jeff's take on his hunt. He went on a 2 week backpacking trip into the wilderness of Idaho to track down some Elk! Come tune in to hear all about it!

Hey Welcome back everyone!

I have a little bit different episode for you all this week, I'M SOLO!

Hunting season is kicking off for both early season goose and teal, as well as deer season is right around the corner. We are all busy getting gear prepped and making final adjustments to make sure we have a successful season for both 4 legged animals and winged animals!

On this podcast I go through a few of the hunts I was able to go on this early season. I am still learning every hunt and every season. I share some of the things I noticed that resulted on birds not coming in all the way, as well as talk about the failed hunts I lacked preparation on.

The boys were able to have a good hunt, but not a perfect hunt and I will get into some of the issues we had and how we switched things up to still be successful!

Today we are joined with two new guests Kyle Normal and Lucas Kervin.

These two helped Kenny and I start a youth fishing club at our old highschool. Its been a journey to get here and made it two week to with solid success. We get into some of the hassle and some of the rewarding aspects that comes with teaching kids how to fish.

Also Kyle and Lucas went on a trip to northern Michigan to go after smallies, and shared some of the same troubles Kenny and I had.

To wrap it all up we share what some of dream fishing destinations/ places we would love to return to.

Starting us off is a good kayak fishing talk with Kyle. He shares a bit about what his setup is like and why he likes it and what upgrades he would and wouldn't make. Also we talk about the differences in boat fishing vs kayak fishing and how they can be just as good as each other!

As all anglers have their preference we get into what reels we like/dislike and why. DC reels used to be a huge hit and fan favorite, but now they are just a reel that makes too much noise!..... ( I still like them)
