Im excited for this episode! Over this past hunting season Kenny and I really wanted to get into doing more filming and photography. With that mindset I was able to go out and really mess up hahaha. So many bad pictures and videos. and as time went on I got a lot better.

Today we have a cool episode! We are joined with an old guest Ben Barrus. Ben moved to Minnesota after college to pursue a career in the outdoors. He is a fishing guide the focuses on ice fishing and is sneaking into Sturgeon fishing.

Ben fished at Adrian college were he had a great career and that left him with a ton of knowledge that set him up for success in his guiding adventures.

During the podcast we sit and talk to Ben while he is actively fishing in hopes to catch a Sturgeon live!.

Today we are joined with a new guest the proud founder of Portage Retrievers Nick Heckman!

Nick is a through and through outdoorsman weather it comes to birds, deer, turkeys, or training dogs.

We talk about our season and even though it was tough Nick was able to get on a lot of birds. Nicks dog Marsh was able to get past 400 retrieves in his first season out!

Birds were tough this year and Nick helps describe how they got after them. And with it being such a warm season Nick also sat in a stand a lot this year and he talks about that.

I mentioned Marsh earlier and that is nicks black lab. Only a year and a half and already has over 400 retrieves tune in to see what Nick did to get ol' Marsh dog to where he is at!

Join back again with Brad and Tanner. Brad and Tanner have hit it hard this waterfowl season. The boys got on them this year. In my opinion it was a rough year for waterfowl, Brad would agree. Even though he agrees Brad talks how he still got after the birds and how much work it took!

Brad and his girlfriend...not fiancé hahaha sorry Brad, were both able to bag a deer this year. Although not with he recurve, but was still able to get on them.

Brad also talks about his turkey trail he is planning this year.
