We are back in Malachi's garage where we love to argue!

Starting us off is a good kayak fishing talk with Kyle. He shares a bit about what his setup is like and why he likes it and what upgrades he would and wouldn't make. Also we talk about the differences in boat fishing vs kayak fishing and how they can be just as good as each other!

As all anglers have their preference we get into what reels we like/dislike and why. DC reels used to be a huge hit and fan favorite, but now they are just a reel that makes too much noise!..... ( I still like them)

And the age old lure argument. How much is a lure worth to you? answer the poll below this podcast!

Welcome back to the Krusty Kast!

In this episode we have all the boys back together. Malachi, Kenny, Kyle and I sit around and catch up on all the fishing/outdoor activities we have been up to.

Malachi, Kenny, and I went on a smallmouth trip up north into Michigan for a few days in the search for some big smallmouth bass! The trip produced some great fish, and you can see some on my TikTok @TheKrustyKast. It wasn't an easy trip. The fish were pretty picky in what they ate, but on the last day we were able to dial in and get some big fish in the boat!

Kyle is back on and joining us! Kyle has been fishing his heart out on his kayak making us all jealous at work while he is smoking fish! Kyle gets a bit into his kayak setup and the joys about it.

This episode we are joined by Brian Hall and his kid (Gage).  They have been in and around the outdoors for basically their whole lives!  

On this episode we are able to talk about almost anything related to the outdoors... from growing up on a farm, to chasing a turkey through the woods, to catching bass all day!  These two are full of stories and experiences!

Kenny and I try and not only hear what exactly these two do in the woods, but also give us a chance to pick their brains to see why they do what they do in the woods.  Kenny and I being younger than Brian we share different views on a few topics and strategy when in the woods.

Having gage on the podcast is also a big swing in generation! Gage is younger than Kenny and I by a long shot.  We were all kids once, and Gage helps us remember the exact thoughts we had when dad would drag us out of our warm bed to go freeze in a tree hahaha.

Today we welcome back Mario Campos the owner of Maumee Bait & Tackle to talk a bit about the walleye run as well as the tournament he is hosting.  Mario has been the owner of Maumee Bait & Tackle for a while now and wants to get some more excitement around the walleye run.  Even though there is already a lot of excitement for the run he is giving back to the anglers that support him with a competitive tournament.

We try to get Mario to share some secrets about where to go, and also what color combo he thinks may win it.... even though many people believe color doesn't mater.

All three of us also give our guess to the winning fish weight!

Welcome back to another episode of The Krusty Kast!

Episode 25 is jam packed!  We talked with Flox Creek Kennels and this time we met up with two more of the Flox boys.  Kenny and I were joined with Harrison Huie and Kaleb Shuffler! 

These boys were able to make it down to Texas this season for a fantastic hunt.  TSA wasn't a huge help but look out for the newest product TSA approved "Krusty Flox Locks".  Tune in to hear the boys share a bit about the experience. 

Also this episode we get to hear some of these North Carolina natives talk about some of their favorite hunts, and favorite conditions.

On this episode of the Krusty Kast Kenny and I met someone while hunting that we had to bring on.  On probably the best mallard hunt of this year Brad Klosinski saved our hunt!

Also in this episode we touch on some of our favorite ways to cook wild game! My favorite is still goose jerky!

On this episode of The Krusty Kast Kenny and I bring on a dog trainer from Flox Waterfowl who works under Flox Creek Kennels.

If you have ever thought about training a dog and was scared to fail you are not alone.  Robbie Shinn from Flox Waterfowl talks with Kenny and I and explain some simple beginner mistakes, and how easy training a dog can actually be. 

While talking shop with dog training do's and don'ts we are also able to get into some waterfowl talk. Robbie and Flox Waterfowl are located in North Carolina so their season is a bit different than ours up here in Ohio.

On this Episode of the Krusty Kast the boys have been hitting the season hard!  As we take a trip up north on the first official on the road podcast we chat it up about the season. 

Ohio has produced some birds for us so far as Kenny and I have been able to hit the Marsh zone opener and North zone opener in Ohio.  Two weeks produced two firsts for me.  I was able to get my first Wood Duck and first mallard!

Had a semi slow opening day in the marsh however the day was not wasted.  The next week Kenny and I were able to have a super productive day in the North zone slaying mallards.  After all that excitement we had a trip planned up north into Michigan for a guided trip with Great Lakes Guided Outdoors (GLGO).  Before the guided trip the group was able to hit a hidden hole full of Michigan Wood Ducks.  Had a great trip up north!

We are happy to bring Conner Gough from "Great Lakes Guided Outdoors".  We were able to sit down with him and talk everything from waterfowl, Turkey, deer hunting, and some of the fishing he takes part in.  Conner really brings us into his world or guiding waterfowl hunts in the aspect of his stories and knowledge.

John DeCessna also came back for another podcast.  John seems to be ready to sit in a layout blind as well as a deer stand as he talks about what he is excited about in this upcoming hunting season.
