A new study from UCLA and the University of Chicago says California wildfires produce twice as much greenhouse gas emissions as the state's law's have cut regarding green house gas reductions over the last 18 years. KVI's John Carlson examines the environmental danger California's "let it burn" forest management policy has hurt the environment rather than helping it. The Covington Police Chief, Adam Easterbrook, says a photo of him is being used by a Political Action Committee (PAC) supporting the re-election campaign of U.S. Rep. Kim Schrier (WA-8th). Easterbrook says he doesn't endorse Schrier even though the PAC's campaign flyer implies the police chief supports her campaign.
