Introducing my new side audio blog type project, Anma’s Manga Minute, and giving a more “formal” introduction to my Hakodate Hearts book series, including selected readings from both Aisuru and Deviations.
Camp Nano ended in abject failure and I contemplate the future of the Maid Maleen project before discussing my hastily done promo for Aisuru. While the sales were pitiful, the ROI was great, though still a disappointment.
Finally got some words written and the story is going so much better! I also talk about the false idea that being an indie authors means you don't have to deal with rejection again.
First Camp NaNo July 2016 update is, well, abysmal and hopefully not the only update for the month…
Some updates and excited babbling about my trip, followed by discussing my updated plans for the rest of the year and my free-talking a bit about the idea of being a failure and coming to terms with it.
Lengthy hodge-podge episode with a a big set of news and notes, an update on the status of The Girl in the Forest, and introducing a new project now underway: my first fairy tale retelling!
With little chance of "making it worse", I decided to do a pair of experiments with free pulsing on Aisuru and tried out a blog tour book blitz. This episode is all about that, after a hefty section of news and notes. How did my experiments turn out? Let’s see…
Celebrating my first year of being published and Aisuru’s first “birthday” with a look back at my indie writing journey so far, both good and bad, and realizing that maybe I’m doing a little better than I often think. I also share the planned online celebrations!
I was out walking around campus with something to say, so random walking episode! For this episode, I talk about something I've noticed with fellow indies lately on focusing on the wrong things, including KU scammers and wringing out ever bit of KENP they can, rather than focusing on what is important: writing good stories, getting them to readers in the best form possible, and then doing it again.
A fairly quick episode giving updates on my writing, including Deviations launch and Aisuru’s “relaunch”, and babbling about the struggle to stay positive.
