The Lackadaisical Writer

Opening the 4th season by doing my annual look back at the good, the bad, and the in-between of last year, how I did on my goals, and what I’m aiming for in 2016!

Giving my wrap up on how this year’s NaNo went before getting into a deep look at how Aisuru’s second promotion went, the “tail” results, and my overall take aways from it all.

Belated update on my NaNo progress for the last ten days, writing my first shirt story, and I share the second chapter of Girl in the Forest.

Weekly update on my NaNo progress and some initial thoughts on my first time using a paid beta reader.

Discussing my progress after the first week of NaNo, my concerns about Girl in the Forest’s content and length, and a quick summary of Aisuru’s 99 cent promotion results. Note: This episode does have some non-specific discussion on child abuse as this is a central subject of GitF.

Update on my progress for the first two days of NaNo and sharing the first, raw chapter of The Girl in the Forest.

After some nice Deviations updates and a few personal notes including NaNo talk, I share the details of Aisuru's upcoming 99 cent sales and the promotional efforts that will be involved.

In this week’s hodge-podge of an episode, I share some info on the weight loss program I’m on, give updates on Aisuru and Deviations, and talk about the changes I’ve made to the show and my newsletter. I round out the episode with my September plans.

In this week’s amazingly short episode, I talk about my upcoming plans for Aisuru, including pulling it from wide distribution to go into KDP select, cover changes, and more.

In this episode, I’m giving you guys a better “sneak peek” at Deviations, with a reading of the first three revised chapters!
