We humans are pretty good at coming up with excuses. It doesn't matter if we are talking to our mom or the God of the universe, we somehow always find a way to explain why we can't do something. But Jesus dismantles our excuses, one by one. Jesus calls his followers to preach the Gospel to the ends of the earth. You may think that if you have no formal Bible training that commission doesn't apply to you...but you would be mistaken. Today Pastor Mark shows us that Jesus himself didn't go to Bible school, and neither did any of his disciples! The truth behind our excuses isn't that we can't do something, it's that we won't.
