October brings us three straight weeks of Horror on the Lambcast, starting with this low key entry featuring a terrific marketing campaign. After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, Dr. Rose Cotter starts experiencing frightening occurrences that she can't explain. As an overwhelming terror begins taking over her life, Rose must confront her troubling past in order to survive and escape her horrifying new reality. Long time Lamb Darren Lucas returns to the show and joins Richard with newcomer Matt Hudson. The Trans-Atlantic conversation delves into horror, marketing and warning labels. So here's a warning: "Be Prepared" for a new episode of the Lambcast.
After a week off we are back with a film steeped in controversy for some pretty silly reasons. A psychological thriller that is overshadowed by production kerfuffle's and publicity missteps. "Don't Worry Darling" is the second film from director Olivia Wilde and the Lambcast crew is a bit uncertain if it is a step up or a step backwards, or simply a step too far. There are dreams of a better life, but who's dreams are they? Come find out if Harry Styles is dreamy or if Florence Pugh has to carry him.

After winning the MOTM poll by a phenomenal margin, Roger Wistar of the Roadhouse Minute Podcast, leads a group of first time watchers through a discussion of the Russell Crowe, Meg Ryan Drama, directed by Taylor Hackford and written by Tony Gilroy. Will Roger make us converts? You have to listen to find out.
Rub the lamp and your wish will come true, the Lambcast will cover this movie before it disappears from theaters. Do it before it's too late. We have a chemistry lesson, a complaint about marketing, a lot of enthusiasm and a side discussion of Terry Gilliam films. Your wish is our command.
It's Lambpardy time! Three more contestants are here to battle it out for movie trivia supremacy and a place in the next round of the tournament! We were a little pressed for time on this recording so it gets a bit more frantic towards the end than we're used to, but it's still a fully-functioning game of Lambpardy!

This is the sixth Decade Lookback Episode we have done, and let's just say it, 1973 cleans every other years clock so far. There is such a plethora of great films that "The Sting", "American Graffiti" , ""Save the Tiger", "Scarecrow", "Serpico", "The Last Detail" did not make the top five list of anybody on the show. It is such a great diverse year, that there was only one "Pineapple Kiosk" in the twenty five films that were discussed. And with Howard Casner and David Brook on the show, we got more non English language films than you can shake a stick at. It may take years for us to find as many films for a single show that people were passionate about. Dave Anderson and Todd Liebenow tried to keep Richard honest, but let's just say enthusiasm was everywhere. You should come and get some rubbed off on you.
Idris Elba does his best Martin Brody impersonation as the summer winds down and we find ourselves in need of a man vs. nature film to close out the season. Only one brave soul was willing to walk into this den of lions and say with pride, "I'm on the Lambcast this week". Lisa Leaheey joins Richard for a one on one discussion of Survival and family conflict. Who is up for some animal and poacher slaughter?
Tony Coogan hosts the MOTM discussion with the film he championed this month, from Studio Ghibli, "Princess Mononoke". The August films are International in flavor and since at least one person on the show was from a different continent, so was the show. There is talk about the marketing of the film, the cultural barriers that may have limited it's success in the States, and of course, the animation work, which in many moments is awe inspiring. It also turns out this is not exactly a kids film, what with all the decapitations and ex-prostitutes in the story, you may want to preview it before you set your children in front of the screen.
The Bullet Train in Japan has a remarkable safety record. These Shinkansens have now operated for 50 years, over 18,000 days, without a single passenger casualty. After Brad Pitt, Brian Tyree Henry, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Andrew Koki, Hiroyuki Sanada, Joey King, Bad Bunny and Zazie Beetz boarded the train, that was no longer true. There is now a different reason that it is called the "bullet train". We have five LAMBs who all had a good time taking this fast trip true the underworld wit glamourous stars and lots of shooting.
