  • Episode 641: Lambcast #639 Summer Memories

If you like movies, if you like summer and if you like nostalgia, then this week's podcast is for you. The Lambcast takes in a retrospective of Summertime by remembering the movies that made us, at least the ones that made us happy, in the Summer. Fifty plus years of Summer movie experiences are shared by the members of this week's podcast and boy did we have fun. You should absolutely put on your t-shirts, cutoffs and thongs, mix a cool adult beverage, and get the popcorn hopping. We also have a game that all of you will be perfect at, even if the guests were not.

  • Episode 640: LAMBCAST Extra Portion #61 - Acting School 101 – James 'Jimmy' Stewart

James 'Jimmy' Stewart is our actor of the month in the LAMB's Acting School 101 feature. Alongside the monthly blogathon held on the LAMB site, there will also be a monthly podcast episode devoted to the actor and their roles, and wouldn’t you know it but that’s this very show. Rob was joined by James Wilson of Blogging By Cinemalight to discuss all things James 'Jimmy' Stewart, but mainly the five performances of his that they like the most. If you have any reviews, podcasts or features written or published about James 'Jimmy' Stewart or any film or TV show he has appeared in, send them to Rob at [email protected] by 5th June.

  • Episode 639: Lambcast #638 Top Gun: Maverick

Howard Casner takes over for the week but has a high casualty rate as three guests on the show drop out. It doesn't matter however because Heather Baxendale Walsh is the guest who shows up, and she has enough to say for five people. It also doesn't hurt that Howard and Heather have vastly different perspectives on the new Tom Cruise vehicle. This is a dialogue you will happy to eavesdrop on.

  • Episode 637: Lambcast #637 Men

Alex Garland has a new film out, and like his previous efforts there is a horror element. This time however, that element is front and center. "Men" may be a suspense film, psychological terror film, or body horror, take your pick. The question is does it deliver? We have four Lambs for part of the show and three of them make it to the end, does that sound ominous to you? Come find out if you should be afraid.

  • Episode 636: Lambcast #636 "Go" MOTM

Director Doug Liman does his best Tarantino Impression with this drug crime comedy from 1999. Ashley Ullom championed the movie so as a first time guest on the show she also got to be the host. She came through with flying colors. We had a hard out on the recording time so we skipped a game and kept the podcast short. So if you like Raves, Drug Humor, Sarah Polley, Jay Mohr, Timothy Olyphant, Scott Wolf, Taye Diggs, Katie Holmes or the Great William Fichtner, then you should join us for a breezy discussion of the film and some talk about raves and other related movies as well.

  • Episode 635: Lambcast #635 Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

This week we are back to the MCU Universe, or more accurately, Multiverse, to see what Doctor Strange has up his sleeve to deal with the most powerful being in any of the Universes. More magic shields, fling rings, incantations and finger waving than you can shake a stick at. It also so happens that there is a bit of crossover with a horror adjacent universe, thanks to Director Sam Rami. Cloe listen to see if the mouth is quicker than the eye, as Jay, Jeanette, Jeffrey and a couple of people who's names don't start with J discuss the movie and rant and rave about the world.

  • Episode 583: Lambpardy! April 2022

Every so often on the Lambpardy shows we like to do something special and pit the members of a podcast against one another for movie trivia domination. The ladies from the Across the Universe podcast are the latest to battle it out amongst themselves under Jay's questioning, just like what happened on their 100th show last year, but this time there might be a few more questions about rom-coms!

Who will be crowned Across the Universe's movie trivia queen? Does it even matter? Listen in to what devolved into easily one of the more chaotic and frustratingly good-natured shows we've ever had!

    This month the contestants are:
Getter, Nikhat & Sofia - Across The Universe: The Chicks with Accents podcast

    Host:
Jay Cluitt - Life vs Film, Deep Blue Sea: The Podcast

  • Episode 582: Lambcast #633 The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent

Jay Cluitt is back to Host the Lambcast for this Nicolas Cage Extravaganza. His posse consists of two Y chromosome challenged Lambs, the always excellent Jeanette Ward and the equally wonderful Heather Baxendale Walsh. The three of them have only love for the subject of today's show but they is do enjoy  speculating about casting and imagining who other than Nick Cage could pull this off. Jay has a game that is so long, we severed it from the regular show and stuck it in as an outtake. So you can listen to it then,  Not that you went anywhere.
