  • Episode 581: Lambcast #632 Whatcha Been Watchin' ?

Covering a span of 90 years, this week's guests have films that range from pre-code classics to this week's releases. Todd, James and Howard join Richard in sharing our opinions on things we have each been looking at recently. Michelle Yeoh and Albus Dumbledore are on the show together with Cary Grant and Laurel and Hardy. Somewhere there is something you will be interested in. We also have an interesting discussion inserted into this show's Rant/Rave/Review section on the value of movie reviews. Are we questioning our own worth? That's an existential question worthy of one of Howard's movie. Come on and join us for a quick look around the movie landscape with some people who share your love of film.

  • Episode 580: LAMBCAST Extra Portion #60: Acting School 101 – Robert Downey Jr.

Robert Downey Jr. is our actor of the month in the LAMB's Acting School 101 feature. Alongside the monthly blogathon held on the LAMB site, there will also be a monthly podcast episode devoted to the actor and their roles, and wouldn’t you know it but that’s this very show. Rob was joined by Darren Lucas of Movie Reviews 101 to discuss all things Robert Downey Jr., but mainly the five performances of his that they like the most. If you have any reviews, podcasts or features written or published about Robert Downey Jr. or any film or TV show he has appeared in, send them to Rob at [email protected] by 20th April.

  • Episode 579: Lambcast #631 Lord of the Rings April MOTM Franchise

The Peter Jackson Films are the subject of our annual MOTM Franchise Lookback. Heather Baxendale-Walsh assembles a new fellowship to travel through Middle earth and highlight the things that make this series essential. Because the film talk was so involved, we skip a game, Rants/Raves/Reviews, and heck, we don't take a break or give you an ad. This is all LOTR all the time. Two Hours and Twenty Minutes is probably easier to do than the nearly twelve hours it would take to watch all the films, but after listening to the show you will probably want to do just that.

  • Episode 578: Lambcast #630 Morbius

After being moved on the schedule over the last two years, six times, and enduring fierce on-line hate before it saw the light of day, Sony's Marvel Film "Morbius" lands on our laps in time for a Lambcast dissection. We start off the show however, with some talk about the two biggest stories in Hollywood this week. The Slap heard round the world and the early retirement of one of our great action stars. You might be surprised at our take on "Morbius" but you will have to listen to decide if we are crazy or not.

  • Episode 577: Lambcast #629 Decade Lookback 2004

This week we travel back 18 years to find some gems from 2004 to share with you. Tyler, Todd, Howard and Richard have different enough tastes that their five lists only produced two of the Infamous Pineapple Kiosk moments. Lots of ideas for you to explore and some other discussion as well. Come on in, the movies are fine.

  • Episode 575: LAMBCAST Episode #628 - Oscar Preview 2022

  • Episode 574: Lambcast #627 The Conversation MOTM

Francis Ford Coppola had a good year in 1974. He was nominated for Five Academy Awards that year, and he won three but none of them were for the film he has always said was his favorite of his movies, heck it wasn't even his favorite of that year, and those awards came for Godfather Part II. Coppola's most personal film and the one he thinks is his best is "The Conversation" and you won't get too much of an argument from the guests on this show, we are all pretty enthusiastic about it as well. David Brook plays host this week as his pick for MOTM gets it's own Conversation.

  • Episode 573: LAMBCAST Extra Portion #59: Acting School 101 - Rachel Weisz

Alongside the monthly blogathon held on the LAMB site, there will also be a monthly podcast episode devoted to the actor and their roles, and wouldn’t you know it but that’s this very show. Rob was joined by Emily Slade of  Why This Film Podcast to discuss all things Rachel Weisz, but mainly the five performances of hers that they like the most. • Episode 572: Lambcast #626 The Batman

So when the question comes up, do we need a new Batman, the five people on this show have an easy answer for you,...Yes. This is an even darker take on a film character that is getting more dense and dark as we go along. There are no Joel Schumacher moments in the Matt Reeves' "The Batman". Robert Pattinson dons the cowl and he is joined by a cast that is deep and a story that is disturbing. Our Lambs have thoughts and a hard fought game to keep you entertained, probably best if you listen after you have seen the movie.
