This week we got to sit down with the power couple behind Sad Dog Discs, the newest disc golf retailer in the Nashville area! Sad Dog recently provided am payout for the Seven Oaks Summer Solstice, and you'll be seeing more of them at future events. Their lives have been molded by disc golf in a really interesting way, and we could have talked to them for another 2 hours! Like/share/subscribe/rate/review, and enjoy the show!

In 2020, Music City Disc Golf selected Tennessee School For The Blind as its annual partner charity, but our plans to bring hands-on disc golf instruction to the students there were sidelined by the COVID-19 pandemic. With restrictions in Nashville relaxing, the MCDG Board of Directors and a team of volunteers recently gathered at TSB for an after-school clinic!

Due to a misadventure in an attempt to record commentary, we managed to get frequent guest Harper Thompson and the TD of the recent Seven Oaks Open, in the studio to talk about the event, and the "Seven Oaks Gold" layout that was created for it specifically. It was a fun and very insightful conversation, and soon to be followed by video coverage at: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5DDYXU-aiWQApN9l_h9KfA

What an absolute pleasure it was to finally get Joel Rogers in the Sapphire Lounge! We've been trying to make this one happen for a long long time. Joel Rogers is not only a Tennessee Disc Sports pioneer and a collector of priceless artifacts, he is also set to be the newest inductee into the Freestyle Players Association Hall Of Fame, and just a really swell guy in general.
