As Wilhelm’s company continues their perilous journey through the frozen Alps, the weight of the creeping death claims another. Berold succumbs to his festering wound, leaving his companions broken and hungry in a world that shows no mercy. With death looming closer, the group stumbles upon an eerie, mist-covered village where the very ground is swallowed by poison. The buildings, like ships floating on an ocean of death, hold no survivors—only a haunting letter cursing God for the cruelty of existence. Desperation gnaws at their souls, and the line between survival and surrender blurs. What awaits them in this forsaken place, and how long can they stave off the inevitable?
