The Laykshow

On this week's episode, with the NFL Draft less than two weeks away I dive into the top quarterback prospects and discuss their strengths and weaknesses and where they will most likely fall in the draft! Caleb Williams is the clear fire 1st overall pick to the Chicago Bears, but will he be able to overcome an organization that has constantly let down their quarterbacks over the past 30 years? Like Trevor Lawrence and Andrew Luck before him, Caleb Williams is considered to be a generational talent at the quarterback position and is considered a can't miss prospect! Other Quarterbacks like JJ McCarthy, Bo Nix, and Michael Penix Jr are also most likely going to be selected in the first round and where is the best fit for each of them and their skill sets? Drake Maye, while talented, in my opinion is overhyped coming out of North Carolina and I feel he will be this years quarterback let down. Out of all the first round quarterbacks selected over the years, its guaranteed that at least one will not make it in the NFL and in my hot take opinion Drake Maye is that guy, but it all depends on where he lands in the draft and what organization he will be a part of.

I also discuss this week the recent events that transpired between Iran and Israel, and it is tragic to see what is going on in the world we live in currently and I also discuss President Biden and President Trump and the 2024 Election this November. I believe we are in for the most controversial and crazy Election this country has ever seen this Fall. How will it turn out and how will it impact the future of The United States of America ?

On this weeks Episode, I give my full Honest Review on Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Becoming a global hit, The Monsterverse Franchise has reached new heights, becoming a $2 Billion Dollar Franchise, and smashing the box office to become the #1 Movie in the World ahead of anticipated films like Dune Part! Having seen it this past weekend, it was nothing short of fantastic. This movie plants the seeds for the franchise to grow even more in future, as there are still plenty of powerful Titans that have not been introduced yet, but will be introduced in the coming years, and without a doubt, will become one of the most successful franchises in cinema history!

The NFL Draft begins later this month and there were many big free agency signings this offseason, and recently a massive trade between the Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills ended with the Texans getting a Star Wide Receiver and widely considered one of the best in the league, Stefon Diggs! The Houston Texans led by Quarterback CJ Stroud now have an offense that will compete with any team in the league, Stroud at QB, Joe Mixon at Running Back, a duo of Tight Ends in Dalton Shultz and Brevin Jordan, and rising star receivers Tank Dell and Nico Collins, now adding Stefon Diggs to an already loaded offense, The Texans are primed and ready to compete for the top spot in the AFC!

My faith has grown significantly over the past year, and I have realized many things in my time reflecting on how my life has turned out. With other people asking how I grew my faith, I want to share some aspects about me following Jesus Christ and how I was able to grow in that faith! It takes time but what it comes down to is that I was in desperate need of a Savior and even though I battled with depression and anxiety for years, and while I thought I was doing it alone, The whole time in reality, God was by my side from the very beginning and he never left, and the love and joy I get from allowing God to take the wheel of my life and allow Jesus Christ in my Heart, has propelled me to a sense of peace and happiness I haven't thought possible. He Is Lord, He Saves, He Loves, He Comforts, He Heals, and He Is Always With You!

On this weeks episode, I go in depth on a few issues about the movie critics of the Godzilla movies as well as the downfall of the Marvel cinematic universe. And I also discuss the main keys to have successful and healthy relationships.

The Monsterverse has quickly become one of the most popular movie franchises in the world and it has made a splash at the box office at opening weekend with Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, raking in over $190 Million on opening weekend, immediately making back its budget and more. Do movie critics judge these movies for the wrong things or is it Justified?
Ever since Spiderman: No Way Home, Marvel has been in a downward spiral, not really having a certain identity, direction, or main villain to focus on. Since Thanos, Marvel has lacked the presence of a strong and persistent villain, it was supposed to be Kang the Conqueror, however the issues with Johnathan Majors has halted Marvels plans for Kang in its path. Should Marvel Recast the role, or should they move on into another villain? One who can make a lasting impact like Thanos did!
Relationships are something we all crave and wish to have in our lives, so I discuss the variety of aspects needed in order to have a strong relationship. And in my personal belief, the best type of relationship comes when both the man and woman have God at the center and Jesus in their Hearts! Having leaning into my faith heavily over the past several months, the truest and purest form of love and happiness comes from God and our Lord and Savior, for the Joy that follows when following Christ is unmatched on every level.

On this weeks episode, MORE NFL FREE AGENCY MOVES HAVE BEEN MADE!!! JUSTIN FIELDS IS HEADING TO THE STEEL CITY!!!!!! This move comes nearly a week after the Pittsburgh Steelers signed Russel Wilson to their roster and traded former first round quarterback Kenny Pickett. In this weeks episode I dive in and discuss what this move means for Pittsburgh going forward and how the Chicago Bears are in deep trouble. Should Caleb Williams pull an Eli Manning and refuse to go to the Bears with the first overall pick? Will the Dallas Cowboys make any moves to better their roster before being trapped in cap hell? And new on the channel, some WWE news! With Wrestlemania approaching, and the anticipated rematch between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, with the Rock in the mix now, how will this shape up in the end? Will Roman Reigns continue the dominant streak? Or will Cody Rhodes finish the story, and dethrone Roman for the top spot in all of the WWE?

On this weeks episode, we are in the middle of the NFL Free Agency Period and the NFL Draft inching closer, teams and players will make big decisions to impact their franchises for the better to compete for a Lombardi Trophy! Some of the biggest moves made include Russell Wilson heading to the Steel City and the Pittsburgh Steelers, Kirk Cousins heading to Georgia to join the Atlanta Falcons, Saquon Barkley joining the in division rival Eagles, and Baker Mayfield earning a new extension with Tampa Bay for $100 Million. And what does the future hold for Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears?

Can Russell Wilson turn his career around in Pittsburgh? Will Kirk Cousins take a leap to a different level of Quarterback play? Is Baker Mayfield worth the $100 Million, and will the Chicago Bears deal Justin Fields away or ride the ship with him? Time will tell as I dive in deep and discuss this massive free agency period!

On this weeks episode, I welcome on my good friend from College Paige Wasko! Having both gone to YSU and having classes together, we soon became good friends realizing how much we have in common and how we both overcame a lot in our lives to get to where we are currently. Paige is a Photographer and has a deep passion for her craft. On this weeks episode we dive into the passion and opportunities she has experienced so far, and we also talk about Gen. Z and overcoming the fear of failure and how faith has helped us to overcome so many battles in life.

Life throws us all different situations and it matters only how we respond and choose to fight back. Struggle and rock bottom is where true growth and development happen and it is important to realize there is nothing thrown any of our ways that we cannot handle!

On this weeks episode I discuss the revival of the famous NCAA Football Series and I discuss a mock draft for the 2024 NFL Draft coming up in April. The NCAA Football franchise was one of the most popular games among the sports fans and sports gaming community. After a lawsuit which combated EA and the NCAA using players name, image, and likeness for their games, the series fizzled out never to be heard from again. Now, 10 years after the last release in the series (NCAA 14), and the addition of NIL deals for college athletes, the NCAA Series is revived in EA College Football 25, releasing summer of 2024. Built from the ground up as a complete new game, directly contradicting the Madden NFL series, I talk about what will be featured in the game, how it will be represented, and what to look forward to upon release this summer. With the NFL draft two months away, I also make my predictions of who will get drafted to the first 20 teams picking this year.

I am happy to announce I am now an Ambassador for the Brand Bucked Up! #buckedupambassador , and this week marked the end of the 2023-2024 NFL season. The Kansas City Chiefs, led by. star quarterback Patrick Mahomes captured their 3rd Super Bowl in the past 5 years, cementing their Dynasty. Patrick Mahomes has now captured 3 Super Bowl Rings, 3 Super Bowl MVPs, 2 League MVPs, and is on a trajectory to surpass the great Tom Brady! Meanwhile the San Francisco 49ers yet again fall short with head coach Kyle Shanahan. Will Patrick Mahomes end up becoming the greatest Quarterback to ever live? Is Andy Reid a Top 5 Coach of all time? Should the 49ers move off of Brock Purdy? All this and more on this weeks episode.

On this weeks episode, I have identified 8 Subjects that everyone in this world, especially Gen. Z, that they need to wake up and realize. Going through personal issues currently and having the first true test of strength since I have put my life back together, it is a weird feeling but at the same time, the way I am handling the situation is light years ahead of where I was and how the old me would have handled it. This episode is designed is a time to sit back and self reflect a little. To put certain aspects of life into perspective and relate it to your current life and current situations you may be going through. These 8 subjects in my opinion are key focal points to be mindful of in order to grow as an individual.

No matter what you may be going through today and currently in your life, stemming from family and friend issues, relationship issues, self-doubt, depression, anxiety, ect........All of these things are building you up as a person and all of these situations are a part of life and should be accepted and tackled head on, and no matter what the circumstances are, You Will Be Okay! You Will Overcome! You Will Succeed! You Will Be Happy!

With the AFC and NFC Championship games in the books, the NFL season drawing to a close, The Kansas City Chiefs led by Star Patrick Mahomes will take on Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers. The controversy that has led to the biggest sporting event in America is not a light one. Is the NFL scripted? There are many key instances that occurred over this past weekend that suggest that is the case. Between the Super Bowl Logo and the Refs calls made on the field during the games, it is a conversation worth having. Mahomes is now in his 4th Super Bowl in his 6 year career, chasing the greatness of Brady, will Mahomes continue to stride into the topic of the NFL's GOAT? Or will Brock Purdy and the 49ers accomplish what Jimmy Garoppolo and the 9ers could not against the Chiefs and Mahomes back in 2020? Time will tell in two weeks! Will Mahomes get his 3rd Ring in 6 Years and cement the Chiefs as a Dynasty, or will Brock Purdy help solidify himself as "The Guy" to lead the 49ers for the foreseeable future and help San Francisco capture its 6th ring tying them with the Patriots and Steelers?
