The Lead-Off

Bink filled in for BK this week and talked about Pat Mahomes finally playing again, can the Chiefs run the table, what the others are saying about the Chiefs and the NCAA is a joke.

Matthew Coller, the host of Purple Daily on SKOR North in Minneapolis, joins the show to talk Chiefs-Vikings with BK and Cody Tapp.

BK gives us a few thoughts on a Sammy Watkins soundbite from earlier this week and one big thing he learned about how Dayton Moore will be affected by the new Royals owner. Then apparently some people are trying to change the date of Halloween and why the pressure is fully on the Chiefs offense for the second half of the season. Then why the AFC may be opening back up for the Chiefs to get a bye in the playoffs.

BK is joined in studio this morning with Royals insider Cody Tapp to talk about the Royals hiring Mike Matheny as manager. Then the guys talk about how the Chiefs are still a very good football team with all of their goals still in front of them.  Matthew Coller, host of Purple Daily in Minnesota, calls in to talk about the Vikings game plan against the Chiefs. Finally BK and Cody go through what the Royals offseason plan is going to look like.

BK explains why this kind of QB doesn't come into Arrowhead & win, last week was the first time we noticed the Chiefs miss Tyreek Hill, Dave Fleming of ESPN.com joins the show to tell stories from his oral history on Andy Reid & a comparison of Bill Cowher & Andy Reid.
