  • The Importance of Wildlife Conservation in Africa | E3 S1 | Tiassa Mutunkei

Our next guest on the third episode of the Leader’s Podcast is Tiassa Mutunkei (@tiassamutunkei). Tiassa, also known as the wildlife warrior, is a Kenyan teenager who is passionate about wildlife conservation. Since 2015, she’s channelled this passion into her own movement called Teens4Wildlife (@teens4wildlifekenya). The organization creates a space for Kenyan and African youth to learn, explore, and discover the value of wildlife – then take action to protect it. Furthermore, the organisation is aimed at fighting the activity of poaching and illegal trade in wildlife.

Join us as Tiassa chats to Mpho about her story, some of the challenges she’s faced on her journey and the importance of youth in challenging the status quo. 🐘🌍 #Wildlife #Conservation #Leadership #Purpose #youthempowerment
