Matt Dicks is a man of many talents.
56 time Moth StorySLAM Champion and 9 time grand champion, Matt is an expert on storytelling. He even wrote a book on it, called Storyworthy: Engage, Teach, Persuade, and Change Your Life through the Power of Storytelling.
Matt is also the internationally bestselling author of a number of fiction and nonfiction titles, which have been translated into 25 languages worldwide.
In addition, Matt has authored a rock opera, several musicals, and comic books. He is a columnist for multiple magazines and has been published in many more.
In his day job, Matt has been an elementary school teacher for more than 25 years. He also works as a marketing and storytelling consultant, a speaking coach, a blogger, a wedding DJ, a minister, and is the Lord of Sealand. Matt works with many business organizations and has taught at a variety of higher education establishments.
Somehow, Matt has managed to do all this, while also raising two children with his wife Elysha - who he runs a podcast with - called Speak Up Storytelling. (He has a second podcast too).
