So Mark decides to tell the story of what happened and explain to people that they don't have to put up with these types of treatment when they are spending their hard-earned money and being clients of these companies. Mark also brings up a national company that he's been having problems with this year and how they are poorly handling their customer service. Next up is the tournament of Pop Culture (week number three) of the cops, robbers, assassins and spies tournament. 2 weeks have already gone by and now we are up to some of the most dangerous individuals that we've seen in movies yet. On this episode Jenna Roberson joins Mark Bland and Jason Kull to discuss the ROBBERS section of the TOPC (tournement of pop culture) and politics. First up news comes whipping in that it seems some senators and representatives from the State of Missouri House decided to submit articles to incorporate Mutal Combat/Dueling as a way to solve issues at the state level. Mark, being a Prowrestler, and Jason being, not republican, know that this is not a good way to handle these things but are all about it if that's what republicans want to solve their issues. Second, the world is being ripped apart in Texas at the border and the governor of the state is threatening the Federal government that it will not remove razor wire from the Rio Grande. We discuss all the aspects of this and if it will lead to war or fighting. Next up Is the tournament of pop culture. This weeks bracket from the Cops, Robbers, Assassins and Spies TOPC is the Robbers section! Movies where robbery is the focus, but what movie stands to win...well tune in and find out! Well we have a list of them on this episode and we are gonna break them down and find out how close to true some of those predictions were. Flying Cars maybe? How bout Jetson styled auto meals cooked to perfection and immediate....well we all know the truth about that. But find out what blew our teams mind when it came to the predictions.
Jonathan May has returned on this episode of The Q to Grace us with his amazing comedic abilities. First up is the Iowa caucus for 2024 and our friend Donald Trump has easily won a red state where we obviously knew he was going to win. But what does this mean for America and all of us who are watching from the sides. This man has criminal issues and indictments that should hold him off of the ballot but he still continues to campaign and get support. We discussed the Iowa caucus and the future of America between the guys. Next up is a tournament of Pop Culture that we didn't expect to have but we have it now. This tournament is based off of cop movies. Movies like Training Day and Beverly Hills Cop. We take 16 of them and break it down to figure out which movie was the best cop/police movie. Did your favorite movie make the list because Mark definitely did not make this list... so we don't know. But tune in and join the guys as we decide who is the most entertaining and best cop movie. Finally there are things that are red flags and people's houses that most of us understand and know. These are unspoken things but when you see them pop up you definitely know that you don't want to be at that house. Mark Bland, Jason Kull and Jonathan May discuss these Oddities and bring some of their own to the table. All this and much more on the newest episode of The Q now.
On this episode of the QNow Mark Bland and Jason Kull are joined by Keegan Emmert an amazing local St Louis Street magician. First up it's obvious the GOP is in disarray because Hunter Biden showed up at their Congressional meeting and decided to leave right before MTG spoke! This left everyone in the building speechless and even the CNN camera's left the event to follow Hunter and his team into the halls with their cameras. Taking the cameras away from the GOP really was the worst thing for them because they didn't get to pretend and put on a show for America. The gentleman discuss. Next up we discuss Keegan and where he grew up and a little bit about his background in the game of magic. Keegan asked for the guys to bring a deck of cards so that they were sealed and they knew that he hadn't touched them. He proceeds to discuss his upbringing, a little about his wife and their early year as well as the ability to perform tricks on the fly and how people respond. Next up the guys are treated to getting to see Keegan in full form! Finally Mark told Keegan before the show started that there was a special ending to it. Mark found a list of objects that may or may not be able to fit in a human butt. So the question really is "will it fit in a butt"? Download to find out!
On this week's episode of the show Jenna Roberson joins us once again to discuss the newly released Epstein list of individuals from the court case. Jenna joins Mark Bland and Jason Kull on this first episode of the 2024 election year. First up Mark brings to the table a weird story regarding Jimmy Kimmel and Aaron Rodgers of the New York Jets. Rogers accused Jimmy Kimmel of being on the Epstein list which Jimmy Kimmel did not like. And understandably so when you accuse people of being pedophiles. Kimmel lashed out and tweeted back that he was going to sue Aaron Rodgers and then he needed to watch his mouth. Mark and the guys discussed this topic and that leads to their next attempt. Next up our wonderful guests and hosts decide to try and figure out who might be on Epstein's list before they read it. Each of them take turns choosing a name until they have selected three names to be potentially on the list. Do they pick the people you're thinking or are they going after people you don't consider to be a threat for this list? Tune in and find out who they think is on it. Finally there are questions that people just feel they can't ask in public. Mark reached out to a bunch of people and ask them for questions that they typically would not ask others in public but are questions that they thought across their minds... And some of the questions are pretty on the spot sensitive and not something you would ask in public. Find out what these guys answered by listening to this new episode of The Q.
It's New Years time and it's the last show of the 2023 year! It's been a hell of a rollercoaster ride this year and Mark Bland/Jason Kull do not leave you wanting for more this time around. On this last show, Mark and Jason discuss Trump and his constant court battles for his candidacy for president. Many people do not want him in the mix and they have brought it to the Supreme Court of Colorado and Michigan's attention. One decided to bump him from the ballot and the other chicklened out and said nothing. Either way, it seems that Trump has a uphill battle in 2024. This being stated, people are on edge and wondering what 2024 will feel and look like. The guys take the mantle and discuss all of it! Next up, what made 2023 special was the trash people. Mark Bland and Jason Kull both took out the trash in their lives in 2023 and made huge changes to their lives! But why? Well mostly because of people and the way they act. So Mark and Jason decided to do a Top 5 Turds of 2023 List! Who made the list, and who did not. Is Trump on the list or did others make a better case for themselves. Listen and find out what made 2023 so terrible to these two! Finally in a Hail Mary for 2023, The guys decide to leave you with a great Tournament of pop culture! Best Steven Speilberg Movie was the topic of choice and these guys break down 32 movies to figure out which Speilberg movie stands the test of time and represents him the best...Is it ET or is it something else you weren't thinking about. Well it's about to go down! Find out who won on this last show of the year!
Oh it's that time of year again, as the year winds down and we all hunker in for a great winters night called Christmas. And this year the guys welcome Brendan Olson, STL comeidan, to the show to talk about the best comedy christmas movies! First up, Trump is a bad boy and has been for some time. Well the Colorado Supreme Court stepped up and states that Donald can not be on the ballot for the upcoming 2024 election year. Of course this immediately made republicans mad and want to take Biden off ballots in states like florida and Texas (go figure). This constant "If you do that, I should do it too" playground childishness is stupid. As dumb as their supporters and followers of his CULT...that's right we think it is a cult at this point. Next up the guys decide to do a Ranker Review of the Best Comedy Christmas Movies of all time. There of course were some serious heavyweights on that list including Christmas Story and The Grinch (with Jim Carrey). Did the list hold up...and what Xmas movie that everyone has seen, that Olson did not see and claim he will watch after the show??? Listen and find out... Finally Brendan had to hit the Hot Seat for 5 questions and the guys finish out the show with some unpopular opinions and discussing their merit in our sensitive world of 2023. All this and much more...plus the entire QNow staff wishes you all a very Merry Christmas. May Santa bring you everything you deserve!
On this episode of the show, Marcus Boston is the special guest. And first up we are discussing all the new updates on the Trump Trials and indictments. Jack Smith has petitioned the SCOTUS to rule on Criminal Immunity in the US when a person is President. If this comes back that he has immunity, it could spell tons of trouble and issues moving forward for the USA. Although a slick move, it could present to be problematic. The gents discuss! Next up is the TOPC: Biggest Jerk in TV and Movie history. They started with 64 bad people and whittled it down to the 4 most curmudgeoned people that could exist in the world of entertainment. Larry Davis, Shooter McGavin, Biff Tannen and Eric Cartman are going to battle it out to see who is the biggest Jerk of them all! Finally, Mark Bland, Jason Kull and Marcus Boston tackle a email from a listener that ha his tubes tied but his new lady still got pregnant. He is unsure how to handle things moving forward so he reached out and asked for some help from the QNow and the guys are here to oblige. Finally, Mark rips through a few questions that people have sent him the past week to answer! All this and much more in this episode of The QNow!
Jenna Roberson, Candidate for Missouri State Congress, joins once again to keep these two politicos, Mark Bland and Jason Kull, in check. First up, not a week goes by that something stupid doesn't come out the mouth of Donald Trump. This week was no excpetion and along with election deniers having to change their legal tune or end up footing the bill that Trump will never pay...Donald once again pu this foot in his mouth with Sean Hannity. During a live interview on FOX, Trump explained that he would be a dictator for 1 day...closing the borders and drilling for Oil (which we do more now that even during his presidency). Well this obviously is not sitting well with many because he said he would do the thing everyone is claiming is a bad thing...being a dictator. The exact opposite the beliefs and wishes of the forefathers. So the crew discusses this issue. Next up is Kevin McCarthy deciding he doesn't want to work in congress anymore. So he is retiring and leaving the other mental geniuses footing the bill. This comes after his disasterous attempts to be a shill for Trump and other election deniers...plus it taking 15 straight votes for his seat as the Speaker of the House. His exit can't come quick enough for the next round of the Tournament of Pop Culture: Biggest Jerk in TV/Movie history....who will join the three others in the final of the ultimate Jerk. Finally NO STUPID QUESTIONS is a new game that Mark brings to the table for everyone. Some questions are ones that people are typically afraid to ask others simply out of regret or anxiety of how they will be viewed. Well Mark found a place where they love to load up the questions and Mark and team will knock down the answers...and tell everyone...if it is indeed a stupid question or not!
