Learn about Jennifer here:
"Hi, I'm Jennifer Benoit, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Even with all the wisdom passed from other moms and books on becoming a parent, nothing prepared me for the emotional and mental shifts that took place the moment my baby was outside of my body. I didn't recognize myself and I didn't have the language to describe the range of emotions I was experiencing.
Over time, I used healthy coping skills and the right support to help me navigate my motherhood journey. In addition to my personal journey, I've provided therapy to mothers experiencing perinatal and postpartum depression through a specialized curriculum known as Moving Beyond Depression. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-focused therapy, Trauma-focused CBT and certified as a Life Coach. I am also certified through Postpartum Support International. "
