Today I sat down with Leslie Danford, Founder and CEO of Vitaminis a brand all about bringing functional food and beverages to families in a tasty and accessible way.

Leslie got her BA from the University of Chicago and her MBA at Harvard, worked in big food and beverage and was passionate about nutrition her whole life but she makes it clear she's not a foodie. So when the pandemic struck and she was at a crossroads plus being 8 months pregnant with baby number 4, she knew it was time to take a leap on a whitespace she saw in the market and with lots of research she'd stockpiled, a new way to take your vitamins was born!

Today I sat down with my friend Taylor, CEO and Founder of both Sheer Media Agency and Sheer Talent Agency, which she started almost 6 years and has grown into a top hospitality agency and influencer marketing company for creators and TV personalities, respectively.

She started out as an influencer in her teens and grew her rolodex of brands and creatives quickly so when the opportunity to make a business out of presented itself she dove in and now she has several clients from influencers, reality TV stars, top restaurants and clubs and so much more. She shares what it was like to start an agency, what she's learned along the way and what the next chapter of her career looks like now that events are really back!

Today I sat down with my friend and fellow lawyer Nathan Moayyad and we talked about going back to school after law school to get an MBA, how he knew it was time to start his own firm and how he's growing it, NIL, the importance of mentorship and so much more.

Nathan started out as a labor and employment attorney for a company after attending SMU Dedman Law School and now in addition to those services he helps businesses with setting up their entities, restructuring and franchising as well as being a certified mediator and assisting in real estate transactions. He's always learning and growing his skill set and network and we talk about how important that is too.

Today I sat down with Hannah Minardi and Austin Wiberg , the co-founders of Standard Self Care, two leading wellness entrepreneurs with slightly unconventional routes into the space and with a vision to create a streamlined personal care line that focuses on product efficacy and ingredient transparency.

From meeting in college to working in startups and one day hatching a plan to create their own company, we talk about it all, like why investing in brand architecture and team building is crucial in the beginning and why building a community helps before product launch. Hannah shares her auto immune struggles and what a cosmeceutical is too and she even spills on dropping out of college and why that was the right move.

Today I took a moment to reflect on my 2023 and share with you my intentions, goals and manifestations for the new year. Overall 2023 was one of the best years yet and I'm so glad I get to share with you!

There was ups, downs, highs, lows that we go over, I share the things I struggled with this year that I probably haven't talked about online before and we talk about the lessons I learned this year, and then I share how I make my vision board.

It was a great year for all my closest friends too, I made some incredible new ones and I finally feel like I'm coming into my best self. 2023 thanks for a wild ride, 2024 I'm ready for you!
