In Episode one we go through the early life of rap legend Eminem- from his dad leaving at age, his hard relationship with his mom, through his turbulent relationship with his girlfriend, turned wife, turned.....muse?; Kim, the birth of his daughter Hailie Jade, and how he needed to fight just to be able to see her, all the while, not even being able to pay for a box of diapers for her.

We will go all the way up to the day that he was invited to the 1997 Rap Olymics.... an event that would change the entire trajectory of his life.
