If you wanted to discover your purpose in life, there is one thing that is commonly available to you that you can use. In fact, all of us have it.
What you are passionate about might not be what I am passionate about. Consequently, what you "see" in life might not be what I "see". Why? Because we are uniquely different.
Perhaps that is why we need to examine the ideas that interest us. It is from that connection with the ideas that we can determine what our purpose in life is. Listen to this.
What if I told you that your purpose is not so lofty and complicated as many think? What if I told you that it is readily available for you to know it and pursue it, centring all that you are doing in life on it?
The fact of the matter is that it is easy, let me say that again: It is easy to find your purpose. One of the ways to do that is to look at what comes to you naturally: Your gifts and talents. Your passion and disposition.
Your unique abilities. Why you? Why are you uniquely that way? Was it not the tools that God put inside of you to use as resources to deploy your purpose? Think about that. Listen to this.
If you look for something like hidden treasure, chances are that you will find it. And when you do, the way you will treasure it will be impeccable.
Purpose is a treasure. If you asked people about purpose, most will acknowledge that they would love to know specifically the reason why their are existing. But they don't. They want help with that. They would rather that the heavens opened and God "called" them.
In this episode, let us look at one of the most powerful ways in which you can inch closer to your purpose. Listen to this.
Someone gave me a memorable quote of sorts. He said, "The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing". That's what purpose is all about.
There is no one on the face of the earth that lacks purpose. Yes, you might not have discovered what it is, but that is not to say that it is non existent. Purpose is. It is there. It is the reason you are alive.
What needs to happen is the realisation that there is something greater to life than what we are experiencing and actually going forward to search for it. Listen to this.
If you find yourself in a rough economic patch of life where mostly it is called "Jobless", there are two options involved. First, you can allow that label to govern your life. It has its consequences at the individual level.
The other option is to choose to label yourself as an "Steward". If that is done, I believe that the identity alone goes a long way in alleviating joblessness. There are at least seven different aspects of stewardship that will go a mighty long way in helping you through that rough patch. Listen to this.
