In our first official Season 2 headline feature we have an incredible guest Sebastian Bates who is the founder of The Warrior Academy, a global martial arts organization operating across three continents, including the UAE, where it serves over 4,000 students weekly.  

With a background as a professional fighter and extreme sports athlete, he has completed over 500 wingsuit BASE jumps and skydives.  After a near-fatal BASE jumping accident that left him with severe injuries, doctors told him he would never walk again. Demonstrating remarkable determination, he defied this prognosis, utilizing strength training and fitness to aid his recovery.  

In addition to his athletic and entrepreneurial endeavors, Sebastian is dedicated to philanthropy, focusing on character development and anti-bullying initiatives through The Bates Foundation. 

We talk about all things adrenaline, becoming a dad, overcoming adversity, setting up the warrior academy and the on going charity work and so much more !

It’s good to be back ! Well…. 6 years in Dubai. I’ve actually got the date I left home and started this new chapter tattooed on me, 07.08.2017…. 7 days later I started my first job. The rest is history. 

I wanted to mark this moment with a personal conversation with you all, breaking down how this all began…the whys, the how’s, the good and the bad. In this weeks episode we are joined by a very close friend of mine but that’s not how our journey started. Sean and myself first began our friendship as client and coach as I guided him on his first ever fitness transformation with The 365 Physique, 15kgs later and seeing visible abs for the first time ever at 35 years old.
