I was saved in 1984, but didn't hear about living under God's grace until the last six months. How did I get this far? I constantly feel like I need to love God more. And I wonder if my love for Him is "sincere" (Ephesians 6:24)! I was saved at a young age and sometimes doubt it was genuine. Maybe I only did it out of fear?

How do you help your child navigate big changes, fear, and uncertainty through a biblical perspective? In this episode of God-Sized Stories with Patricia Holbrook, counselor and author Darby A. Strickland shares practical, faith-centered ways to help children process difficult emotions and face life’s transitions.
Darby is the author of A Big Change Happened, a children’s book about Wallace the whale and his journey into unfamiliar waters. Inspired by Psalm 139, the story reminds children that even when everything around them changes, God knows them, sees their fears, and remains near.
In this conversation, Patricia and Darby explore how parents can recognize signs of childhood anxiety, listen without rushing children past their emotions, and use practical tools such as role-playing and familiar routines to help them feel more secure. They also discuss parenting through family transitions, helping children process grief, and teaching biblical truths without minimizing real pain.

Some people are lost far from God. Others are lost while surrounded by the things of God.
Teaching from Luke 15, Dr. Michael Youssef unpacks Jesus’ parable of the lost coin and exposes the danger of careless, self-righteous religion that overlooks spiritually lost people. God, however, does not overlook them.
Like the woman who lights a lamp, sweeps the house, and searches carefully until the coin is found, God’s love is active and purposeful. His Word brings light, His grace pursues the lost, and Heaven rejoices when one sinner turns back in repentance.
This episode calls believers to:
God’s love does not passively watch the lost wander away. He seeks, He restores, and He calls His people to join Him in reaching those whom sin has stolen.
Scripture Focus: Luke 15:8-10
