Lindsay is an ex convert of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS), also known as the Mormon church. She obtained her bachelor's degree at Brigham Young University--Idaho, where she met her husband. They were later married in the Columbia River Washington LDS Temple in Richland, Washington.
