Today’s episode is a super juicy tough love pep talk about LIMITING BELIEFS! It was inspired by a text message from a friend. She was telling me that being a podcaster or writer was too creative for her and she couldn’t do it. Since we’re besties, I had to call her out in the most loving way possible because she was putting herself into a box. I knew she needed that just like I've needed that in the past, and maybe-- you need that too! At the root of it, there’s a difference between saying, “I don’t want to do or be XYZ because I don’t want to…” and “I can’t be or do XYZ because I don’t know how…” Let’s stop choosing to be limited, okay?! Because there are so many resources— free & paid— out there that can help us figure out the how within everything out there. Don’t sell yourself short!

Today we’re chatting about the PRESSURE to be constantly consuming personal growth content. Of course, bettering ourselves is great and necessary, but… content that helps us to grow and learn isn’t the only content we can consume. Sometimes, it’s better for us to prioritize reading a book or listening to music or getting lost in a TikTok scroll for FUN once in a while. Not that personal development content isn’t fun, but there’s other content out there that can inspire us and be good for us in OTHER WAYS! So, let’s be the type of women who aim for BALANCE in the content we consume. We don’t need to be “on” all the time.

Today we are back to doing one of my favorite styles of episodes & so many of you have told me your resonate with it. I grab a personal development book off my bookshelf and flip to a random page I have dog-eared, sticky noted, or flagged. Then I share that passage with you and give you some TACTICAL takeaways.
Look, I get it, we are busy WOMEN and don't always have the time to read a full book so that is why I share the juiciest nuggets from what I have read and learned.
Today I am sharing a passage from Mastering Your Mean Girl: The No-BS Guide to Silencing Your Inner Critic and Becoming Wealthy, Fabulously Heathy, and Bursting with Love by Melissa Ambrosini. This passage is all about QUITTING wearing busyness as a badge of honor and THINKING we need to find balance.

Today we are chatting about a really powerful tool to use when we find ourselves saying things like "I am just always so busy" or "I never have enough time" or " I never get time for me".
I did this exercise a few weeks ago and am happy to say that within a week of implementing this new schedule and better boundaries I am finding myself saying things like "I don't know how I am going to get this all done" or "AHHH I am so overwhelmed" WAY LESS!!
I even made you a template to assess where you are with how much you WANT to do in a week. Check it out and then let me know what you thought after using it!

In today’s SUPER QUICK podcast episode we are talking about the power of sitting in silence for a few minutes everyday or just whenever you get the chance. And it doesn't have to be called 'meditating'. I just want to challenge you to turn off the music, podcast, and outside noise on your next drive and such see what thoughts you have in your brain without the outside noise.

In today’s podcast episode we are talking about the Pomodoro Technique. The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. It uses a timer to break work into intervals, typically 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. Each interval is known as a pomodoro, from the Italian word for tomato, after the tomato-shaped kitchen timer Cirillo used as a university student.
My favorite resources for the Pomodoro Technique:
- The app TickTick, which I also use for my to dos for the week
- The website PomoFocus: https://pomofocus.io/
