But after the long hours, she pivoted to ad sales thinking it would be a better fit for her but after ONLY a month she realized it was not right for her. Today’s podcast was supposed to be totally different! We were going to talk all about brain dumps and master to-do lists, which is a great topic and likely will find a way back to the show BUT instead, we are celebrating episode 10 with a PIVOT.
Make sure you tune in because I fill you in on all the juicy details behind the NEW name and where it came from.
The Lily Pad Network is for the woman who is 2-3 years into their ‘career’ and are realizing this might not be the thing I want to do in 5-7 years. But they are also SO DAMN grateful for the job they have right now because they worked the booty off for it. They want a ‘side thing’ but don’t need the side thing to make money. Sure if it does, GREAT! If it doesn’t totally fine. This ‘side thing’ is really a fulfillment thing. I am thinking
- The woman who is a teacher and realizes she wants to pivot a little and become a nutrition coach and then starts a podcast and her biz blows up
- The woman who is a professor and realizes she wants more so starts writing her novel and then decides she wants a podcast and then dreams REALLY big and realizes that is her own publishing house
- The woman who works 9-5 in the office as an accountant but LOVES helping women flip the switch and change the stories they are telling themselves
- the woman who works 9-5 in the office as a marketing guru but goes home to train for a triathlon
- The woman who is a paralegal who on the weekend crochets animals and sells them on the Etsy
- AND I KNOW THERE ARE MANY OF YOU OUT THERE! You don’t get all your fulfillment from one area.
You are the girl that does AND SOMETHING.

In today’s podcast episode we are talking about my favorite way to check in each week with my fiancé. About a year and a half ago we realized we kept crossing wires and needed a more formalized process to check-in and share the highs from the week, where we needed more support, anything weighing on our minds, and just to be together. We started doing weekly check-in meetings and it changed how we communicated with each other. We knew each week we had about an hour set aside to connect without distractions. In this episode, I give you the exact list of questions we use for our check-in meetings. If you want to download a copy of the questions, make sure you join my email squad as those ladies get access to all the free goodies.

Then in summer hits and we go oh NO I haven’t made progress on them and put our heads down and focus hard on our goals for about 12 days. Then it gets hard and we skip a day. One day turns into 3 days, which then turns into a few months. This episode I give you seven actionable steps to help you set your goals for July! What are your goals for July? Send me a DM on Instagram! And if you listen ALL the way through you might be in for a surprise treat!

In today’s podcast episode we are talking about my favorite budgeting app. But beyond that, we are taking money mindset and shifting AWAY from comparison and towards gratitude. It is important to ask yourself what do you need in a budget and pick the tool that serves YOU best. While YNAB might be my favorite and I think everyone should use it, I AM NOT YOU! So try YNAB out see if you love it and if you don’t try one of the dozen other options until you find what is best because you deserve to find that one thing.
If you want to check out YNAB, use this link and when you fall in love and sign up after your free 34 trial you and I both get a FREE month!

In today’s podcast episode, we are talking about the pressure lifestyle challenges, like 75 Hard, put on us to be perfect. These lifestyle challenges cause us to tune out of our inner knowing and push past 100% of our excuses 100% of the time rather than coming home to our bodies. Instead, I love the idea of themes and having themes for each season. So for me, this is the Summer of Intention. What will your summer be like? Send me a DM on Instagram! To learn more about themes check out this great YouTube video, and listen to Episode 2 all about habits.
