This is a cracking chat. Not often I get to speak with somebody quite so adventerous. We're all brave and adventurous in our own way and Livia certainly does her exploration differently to most. We talk about her work in The Republic of Congo with The Pygmies and just how profound that experience was. We find out what her lasting moment is and we also talk dogs. I speak with Jenny Rainsford about her time before Fleabag, onstage and building her craft and the path towards her career. We get into working with Phoebe Waller-Bridge and creating 'Boo'. I was so excited to speak with Andrew about one of my absolute favourite novelists. It was quite mindblowing finding out so much about Patricia Highsmith's life, so many events and quirks I wasn't aware she had. I think you'll see for yourself there were some very dark things that made her the great author she was. We also talk about her impact on the LGBTQ community both then and NOW.

Almost certainly a dream come true to speak with this man. The legend that is Steve Ferrone. This man has drummed for the best. He was a Heartbreaker for 25+ years and was the engine behind some of the greatest live shows The Heartbreakers ever did. He was on all of The Heartbreakers later material and frankly is one of the most humble people i've spoken to.

He's played on all of Chaka Khan 80's albums was a founding member of The Average White band and has sessioned and worked with the very best including Clapton at Knebworth 1990. To top that he joined Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers when the band was on the ropes, needless to say they stuck together and went on for years to come creating some of the coolest and earthy, rockin' beautiful music you'll ever hear. There is a brilliant story to his childhood that is seriously worth listening out for, it's hard at times and heartbreaking. He's been there and back, that's for sure. People I give to unto you Mr Steve Ferrone.

Lindsey Chapman joins me for a chat about all things outdoors. Lindsey is a presenter for the BBC, amongst other things. She's presented Spingwatch along side Chris Packham and has enjoyed presenting many wildlife programs with many familiar faces. I personally reveled in the chance to talk about my love for the countryside and I know Lindsey really enjoyed the chance to stretch out and really talk about what got her into wildlife and presenting.

A few days ago I managed to catch up with old time gigging pal oh mine and frontman of The Ordinary Boys, Sam Preston. The first in a series of musicians on the show this really is a great chat. I had no idea just how much Sam has packed into his life and just how much has happened in the last two years alone. From a horrific accicdent in Denmark to producing Liam Payne. He really opens up in a way I know you'll connect with. You'll love it, We talk everything from books to sweaty punk gigs and beyond.

So here it is. The highlight of my podcasting career thus far. It was the easiest thing to set up and one of the most pleasurable conversations i've ever had, including Michael Palin.

We talk about Jonathan's journey into cricket, his wider life and some brilliant anecdotes. What i will say is just how open and relaxed he is. It's a slightly more open and emotional conversation than I predicted. He's a champion for the geeks out there, the ones like me that love the greatest sport in the world. It's not often somebody gives me this much time so, a genrous warm man indeed.

This week or this time, i should say I speak with John Harris. John, you will recognise from the series Anywhere but Westminster. Unless you're an avid and mono reading fool you'll also know his incredible writing for The Guardian but of course his years of music journalism for The NME {remember that?} and Mojo. You might have forgotten all about his music heritage so I spend a lot of time talking about that. Expect a change of direction in the forth coming weeks in terms of guests. I am almost done with politics because in the main everything stays the same and bad things happen, a lot.
