Just last week, good ‘ol Facebook showed me a “memory” from 10 years ago. 
It was a pic from when I travelled to Chicago to celebrate my divorce. I called it my “baller weekend.” 😎 And let me tell you…..it turned out to be one of the BEST weekends of my entire life!!

Upgrade after upgrade. Beautiful weather. The best steak I’ve ever had. Free champagne. 🥂

And sure, you could write it all off as “good luck.” 🍀

But I happen to know that my INTENTION for the weekend was strong. I envisioned an entire weekend of VIP treatment. Only the BEST. Everything would go my way.

I assumed it would all just be that way - no strings attached. And that’s exactly what happened!

This is the “Law of Assumption” at work. And if you’re looking for a quick way to IMMEDIATELY shift your mindset, I suggest you listen to this podcast episode, and start putting this law into action!

On any given Friday night in the ‘90s….you could have probably found me watching a movie on my parents’ couch.

And VERY LIKELY, that movie included a high-powered businessman, getting sh&t done, and making TONS of money. 💸

“But where are all the women?” I thought…..

And the reality is…..women are often taught by society to “stay small:”

👉 Lose more weight and wear the Spanx

👉 Don’t be too dramatic or “overly emotional”

👉 Dress conservatively and avoid attracting unwanted attention

👉 Downplay your accomplishments and don’t boast

👉 Diminish your ambitions to avoid intimidating others (especially men!)

👉 Don’t talk about money or how much you make

Is there ever a point in your life, when it’s “too late” to make a change? Is there a certain age, when it “doesn’t make sense” anymore to choose a different path?
