Con O'Donoghue who was Chairman of Drogheda Local Heroes paid tribute to Feargal Quinn and we replayed an extract from a Late Lunch interview from September 2011 when Feargal joined Gerry Kelly.  Tom Cardiff explained the Herring Gull situation from a Balbriggan residents perspective.  They photograph food and they're really really good - Zita Fox and Rob Kerkvliet the people behind "A Fox in the Kitchen" popped in for a lovely chat!  Adam Dunne was visiting Ireland and his family's home town for the first time while its all systems go for the Cross Cooley Challenge.

Herring Gulls are abandoning their Natural Habitats and taking up residence in our towns causing nuisance to us humans as we go about our daily lives, however, as Niall Hatch from Birdwatch Ireland explained the problem is of our own making!  Andrew Jordan told us why he's determined to seek justice for his partner Liga was was raped, strangled and beheaded while in India.  Ann Carolan reflected on her time in the Irish Army and more besides, Sarah Flynn was so reassuring as she spoke about Gentle Birthing and we looked ahead to the Drogheda Arts Festival now in its 15th Year.

On January 4th 1976 gunmen burst into the O'Dowd home in mid-Ulster shooting indiscriminately badly wounding Barney O'Dowd and killing his brother and two of his sons.  The atrocity was carried out by the infamous Glennane Gang about whom a documentary called Unquiet Graves has recently been released.  Produced by the highly acclaimed Sean Murray and ahead of its screening at the Solstice Arts Centre in Navan on Thursday, Barney now 96 and Sean joined Gerry on Late Lunch.
