Directed by Ari Aster. Starring Florence Pugh, Jack Reynor, and William Jackson Harper.

“A young American couple, their relationship foundering, travel to a fabled Swedish midsummer festival where a seemingly pastoral paradise transforms into a sinister, dread-soaked nightmare as the locals reveal their terrifying agenda.”

  • Avatar: The Way of Water

Directed by James Cameron. Starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, and Sigourney Weaver.

"Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, "Avatar: The Way of Water" begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure."

  • The Godfather

Continuing our efforts to catch up on our backlog, we got back in the studio after a 3 week break to record Dennis' pick: Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather. Who would have thought that a movie from the 70s would actually be worthy of its place in the top movies of all time list.

Directed by Francis Ford Coppola. Starring Marlon Brandon, Al Pacino, and James Caan.

"Widely regarded as one of the greatest films of all time, this mob drama, based on Mario Puzo's novel of the same name, focuses on the powerful Italian-American crime family of Don Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando). When the don's youngest son, Michael (Al Pacino), reluctantly joins the Mafia, he becomes involved in the inevitable cycle of violence and betrayal. Although Michael tries to maintain a normal relationship with his wife, Kay (Diane Keaton), he is drawn deeper into the family business."

  • Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

Finally releasing our episode on the highly anticipated follow up to 2019's Knives Out, Glass Onion. Originally recorded back during the film's limited theater release in November.

Directed by Ryan Johnson. Starring Daniel Craig, Ed Norton, and Dave Bautista.

"Benoit Blanc returns to peel back the layers in a new Rian Johnson whodunit. This fresh adventure finds the intrepid detective at a lavish private estate on a Greek island, but how and why he comes to be there is only the first of many puzzles. Blanc soon meets a distinctly disparate group of friends gathering at the invitation of billionaire Miles Bron for their yearly reunion. Among those on the guest list are Miles' former business partner Andi Brand, current Connecticut governor Claire Debella, cutting-edge scientist Lionel Toussaint, fashion designer and former model Birdie Jay and her conscientious assistant Peg, and influencer Duke Cody and his sidekick girlfriend Whiskey. As in all the best murder mysteries, each character harbors their own secrets, lies and motivations. When someone turns up dead, everyone is a suspect."
