The Little Dum Dum Club with Tommy & Karl

It’s our yearly Best Of countdown episode! We put the call out and YOU voted for your favourite episodes of 2022. We’re counting down the episodes and giving you some fresh content and behind the scenes goss in between the clips. There’s hot riffs, idiotic stories, and YET AGAIN, a VERY surprising entrant at number one! ;)

This week we're joined by BEN LOMAS and SAM TAUNTON! Taunts is making his debut on the podcast mere hours after being announced as one of the new hosts of The Project so we help him cook up some potential new segment ideas. Tommy's had a rough time at a music festival that he attended with a show business legend, Karl's had another unbelievable name on the door at his comedy club, but honestly, who cares about any of that - because we also accidentally unearth an old piece of Ben Lomas trivia that turns out to be one of the greatest repressed memories of all time!

This week we're joined by DAVE O'NEIL and SAMI SHAH! Karl's come across one of the greatest names of all time on the door at his comedy gig which stops us all in our tracks. Dave's been heckled at a gig, Sami's had a terrifying experience travelling around performing at the libraries of WA and Tommy's travelled interstate to try and meet one of his favourite bands.

We've been welcomed back to Chez Little this week, with our "special" guests TOMMY LITTLE and OLIVER CLARK! Karl reminisces about his early days in comedy with Tommy Little and OC's been singing for some of Little's dinner guests. There's also some old school Maryborough hijinx, a new harebrained scheme that Little's working on, and Dassalo's done some riffing outside a carpark.

This week we're joined by WIL ANDERSON and MIKE GOLDSTEIN! Wil's on the PR trail for his new book "I Am NOT Fine, Thanks" and Mike's basking in the glow of his recent win in a major category at the Australian Comedy Hall of Fame. Mike fills us in on his recent trip to Fiji and a wild altercation he got into with one of his fellow vacationers, plus Chandler's back from Bangkok so we hear all about his stand-up gig with Blakey PLUS we spend ages talking about the Hungry Jacks at Melbourne Airport.

We're joined this week by our great mates HARLEY BREEN and NICK CAPPER! Tommy's witnessed some heckling, Capper's comedy has inspired some audience romance, and Harley's lost a hat. PLUS Capper's been living it up in Newcastle, basking in the glory of his new status as an inductee of the Australian Comedy Hall of Fame, by doing one of the worst sounding gigs of all time.

This week we're back in our favourite cramped hotel with MELANIE BRACEWELL and RAY O'LEARY, making his debut on the show! We find out that Ray is the master of group chat gossip both here and in New Zealand, Tommy's mother in law has been in town, and a mysterious figure from an all-time classic yarn on the podcast has re-emerged in an incredibly surprising way...

This week we're joined by DANNY MCGINLAY & ADAM ROZENBACHS for a beautiful reunion of an episode that we did ten years ago. Danny's bombed in Sydney on the NRL Footy Show, Rozie's been kicked out of a marquee, and Tommy's encountered a crazy man obsessed with gozleme. PLUS Karl is days away from his trip to Bangkok with Brett and Milan. There's chaos in the boys trip group chat, and we brainstorm all the possible ways that Karl and Brett's stand-up gig on Friday night could go wrong.

We're LIVE this week "celebrating" our 12th birthday and finally unveiling the Australian Comedy Hall of Fame! We're joined by TOM BALLARD for some late betting odds on who might be inducted, CONCETTA CARISTO makes her debut on the show after literally dreaming about it for years, and Hall of Fame nominee NICK CAPPER shares his favourite memories of Bangkok. PLUS Milan tells us a joke, there's messages from absent nominees, surprise drop ins, and we crown the inaugural inductee for 2022!
