Are you a generous giver? As you listen to today’s message from Pastor Danny, he encourages you to give as Jesus himself would give. God’s character is one of abundant generosity. “For God so love the world that He gave His one and only Son.” To be a follower of Jesus is to be generous. Pastor Danny urges you to understand that when you give, you’re modeling the character of God himself. Recognize that everything that you’ve been given has been given to you by God, so trust Him in your giving.

Do you realize that as a follower of Jesus, you can come boldly to the throne of God? No longer do you need a mediator; you have the blood of Jesus that covers you. So, Pastor Danny explains that because of this you can enter God’s throne room with boldness and openness. He’s not going to turn you away. You have access to Him as His beloved child.

Are you living off of milk or steak, spiritually speaking? As you listen to today’s message from Pastor Danny, he explains to you that when you are a new Christ follower of course you should survive off of spiritual milk! Anything else would be too much all at once. However, as you mature and grow in Christ, hopefully your spiritual appetite will too. Pastor Danny encourages you that if you have been a follower of Jesus for a while you shouldn’t be living off of tiny bits of spiritual knowledge. You need to have a deeper walk with Christ.

Judas likely had good intentions at some point. He probably didn’t just follow Jesus the entire time with the end goal of betraying Him. Some have suggested that perhaps even his act of betrayal was intended to force Jesus into some sort of supernatural action. Whether that’s the case or not, each of us have likely known a Jesus in the church. As Pastor Danny will explain in today’s message, it’s entirely possible to be a churchy person. To look the part and walk the walk while not really knowing God in your heart.

Nothing is hidden from God. He knows every action, thought and feeling that we ever have had or will have. Yet, even Adam and Eve who experienced God in a more tangible way than any of us have ever had, thought that they could hide from God after they sinned. This deception is a natural byproduct of sin. We think if we can shape our own destinies and be our own gods, we can also shut out the creator who can see our hearts. As Pastor Danny reminds us in today’s message, that’s not the way it works.

When bad things are happening in your world and you feel like you’re a far cry from the man or woman you want to be, where do you turn? As Habakkuk 3:17 encourages us, even when nothing is as it should be, you can rejoice in your savior. He is your strength when all of your strength is gone. In today’s message, Pastor Danny will encourage us to look forward to the hope that we have in Christ and find strength in the purpose that He has for us here, even when the world seems to be crumbling in around us.

1 Corinthians 7:14 tells us that a believing spouse has a Godly and sanctifying influence on the family. Ideally both husband and wife are believers and will demonstrate lives that love and honor God in front of their children, but this often isn’t the case. As Pastor Danny will point out in today’s message, that unbalanced marriage is an opportunity for the believing spouse to help lead the unbelieving spouse and kids out of the oppression of the enemy and into the freedom of Christ.

You walk into any church on any given Sunday and you’re going to find some believers who are just along for the ride. There are enjoying the confidence of knowing that their hearts and soul are secure in Jesus, but then failing to step out and carry the mission that He has called each of us to do. Perhaps you’ve even found yourself in that same position. In today’s message, Pastor Danny will challenge us to step out and to live the mission of the Gospel.

Moses attempted to do the work of God in the power of the flesh and the inevitable result was personal failure. When you try to take God’s plan for you and tweak it to line up with your own agenda or to fit within your own capabilities, you’re going to find yourself failing. As Pastor Danny will warn us in today’s message, the only way to follow God’s will for you is wholeheartedly. You have to let go of your own plans and step outside of your comfort zone in order to lean fully on God’s strength and wisdom.

In today’s message, we will examine the story of Joseph. If there ever was a story of persistent faith, then Joseph is it. He wasn’t perfect but he demonstrated obedience and faith in God in some of the toughest circumstances you can imagine. Sold into slavery by his own family, falsely accused by a rich and powerful woman, imprisoned, and all the while far from home in a strange land. But as Pastor Danny will point out in today’s message, Joseph trusted that God could bring good out of his trials.
