So there are things that we say and repeat over and over that actually make no sense and aren't true.

As a Christian, I have said things that sound right, sound good, make me feel good, but aren't biblical

and actually harm my relationship with God and others.

So in this episode, I confront five of those lies.

Soooo....I quote scripture and often get references wrong, so I'm putting the references here.  You'll understand as you listen.

Has God failed me?

How can you ask such a thing?

Well, if we're honest, as I have had to be in 

my life, there are moments in our life where we feel God has 

not come through for us.   And if we don't wrestle with that,

figure that out, surrender it to God, the faith that we need

to get us through circumstances will not grow.

On this Father's Day, I wanted to share my heart on fathers and how we need them.

As a single woman whose had to raise children after their father died, I have seen this first hand.

As an adult woman whose father died as well, I have felt this.

We need you Dads!

So men, women, children, listen to this episode.

I hope it leads you to heal, love, acknowledge so many things in your lives.

But most of all, to love and appreciate the fathers that are present and your Heavenly Father.

Are they even listening to our needs?

Do they even care how their behavior affects us?

Are they EVER going to change?

We need to mature in this area.

We need to grow up and examine this area in our lives.

It is important during those times that we address what we are feeling and deal with it in a healthy manner 

and especially process it well.  Otherwise, we can make decisions that will be dangerous to our

well-being and future.

they can't handle.

Have we burdened them with our false expectations?
