The LoreCraft Podcast

Machik has finally rolled on a new server as a dwarf.  And Yamino discusses how she now has all the toys!

This week you meet Reagan Luthen.  And his encounter with Deathstalkers!

You can read the entire story a http://www.thelorecraft.com/obligations.

Who are the Old Gods?  With five main Old Gods, four of them named, learn a little bit about where they come from and what they want.  And I promise, it's not merely a deli sandwich!

@willseiler - Co-Host of Saturday Morning WoW

• @thelorecraft just jumped into episode 29 after listening to @RealmPodcast. (cont.)
• @thelorecraft Since then it was said WoD Archimonde =/= BC Archimonde so how can player warlocks summon their unique MU minions in the AU?

One of these days we'll get to advertise a guild.  Will it be yours?  I hope so!

We are saddened that this week there is no reader email.  After last weeks 2 for 1 deal, I was sure we would be inundated.  I was wrong.

A little bit of this and a little bit of that.  Though Machik's play time is severely limited, he still finds ways to have fun.

This week we take a little trip into the Spires.  This wonderfully fun little piece shares with us the thoughts of the alliance.

You can read the entire story a http://www.thelorecraft.com/bird.

We begin a series on some of the deep history of Warcraft.  This week Yamino talks a bit about the Burning Legion.  Which of course throws Machik into all sorts of tangents.

A really unique question this week.  Though neither Yamino nor Machik have ever watched the television show.

@jakeholinsworth - @thelorecraft #craftiequestion Do you guys think WoW should do something like Game Of Thrones and kill off more main characters? Who dies?

We want to advertise you!  Hit the link up top!

Wait, what?!?!  A two for one deal.  Yeppers, two reader emails, and one of them gets really philosophical!

It has been an interesting week.  A new patch.  New stories.  And a new found love of ships!

A troll and his mother.  These are the deep things we want to know about.

You can read the entire story a http://www.thelorecraft.com/motherslove.

We broach the subject of a Tweet from June 6th.  Do demons die if they die in our plane?  Or is it merely a "setback?"  How does this affect our RP?

@FalCatrecon - @thelorecraft #craftiequestions With undead, if the character is missing a lower jaw can he still talk? How about with magic means? ~Evolly

Machik has a request.  Can you help him?

None this week.

Lots of roleplay going on for Machik.  And Yamino shares her week of fun too.  But, we are sad to announce, Legren will be taking a hiatus.

We learn about an orc.  And his thirst for blood.  Or so it seems.

You can read the entire story a http://www.thelorecraft.com/notasbad.

This week we talk about your favorite hoofed alliance NPC, Velen.  What has he been up to?  What is he preparing for?  And what does he already know?

@jakeholinsworth comes at us with a great question!

@thelorecraft #craftiequestion You can make your own zone, what does it look like, who is in it, and what is it about? Thanks!

None this week.

None this week.

We bring in a brand new co-host this week!  I want to present to everyone - YAMINO!

A troll's backstory.  Is he a cannibal?  A monster?  Or someone just trying to survive?

You can read the entire story a http://www.thelorecraft.com/notasbad.

Legren was absent, and as such, so was the Magic!

The flight situation has been all over Twitter and blog posts.  I figured it was time for us to talk about it in regards to lore!

None this week.

None this week.

None this week.

Well, the introductions were limited.  Due to real life, Legren had to step away for an evening.  But Machik has had many RP adventures this week!

What is a man to do when he is in Draenor.  This story begins with a human giving orders, but how will it end.

You can read the entire story a http://www.thelorecraft.com/notasbad.

Legren was absent, and as such, so was the Magic!

Two expansions in World of Warcraft have given us new classes.  The Death Knight during Wrath of the Lich King, and Monks during Mists of Pandaria.  These classes have very specific stories that align themselves with those expansions.

So what happens when the expansion ends?  How do you keep the drive going to roleplay a character that was so important to an expansion, but sometimes seems out of place outside that xpac?

We talk about it this week.

The question this week from @jakeholinsworth -  @thelorecraft #craftiequestion Hey guys! What do you guys think Wrathion is doing now? When will we see him again?

Listen in to how we answer it.

We again share a little information about the Blackmoon Tribe on the Emerald Dream forum.

You can check them out at http://www.thelorecraft.com/bmt.

None this week.  So about you send us one?

We did it folks.  We made it to 25 episodes.  That means it times to gather around a whole group of people for our LoreCraft Roundtable.  So not only do you get to hear about Legren and Machik, but also about Aitana and Vargarok and Ugan.  Yep, it's quite the busy opening!

Well, it was finally time to jump back to the Horde side.  And this week, it's all about those swanky blood elves.  And of course the annoyances of trolls that roam around Silvermoon.  Will those trolls never learn?

You can read the story a http://www.thelorecraft.com/notasbad.

None this week.  There was way too much going on already.

We stole three people away from the game to join us in an honest discussion of Warcraft and Lore.  It's long, but well worth it.

The question this week from @jakeholinsworth -  @thelorecraft #craftiequestion Hey guys! What do you guys think Wrathion is doing now? When will we see him again?

Listen in to how we answer it.

None this week.  We were too focused on the Roundtable.

Did I meniton the Roundtable?

Machik and Legren talk a little bit about their roleplay adventures.  And Machik shares his love with Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm.  Wait, those have nothing to do with Warcraft lore....

Machik did a bit of searching and found a brand new forum with roleplay stories.  After stopping by www.ravenholdt.us, the craft druid found a story that dealt with humans... or worgen... or worgen based humans.  Who knows really, but it makes for a good tale.

You can read the the story a http://www.thelorecraft.com/notasbad.

Flowers.  Trees.  Bears.  Cats.  Nature.  That's what Legren brings us this week as he shares his wisdom with this as it relates to druidism.

Continuing on the druidic ideas, we talk about the different races that can be a druid, and how it all comes back to Malfurion and Cenarius!

Two wonderful questions from two wonderful Twitter followers.  @BrunhartED and @ChiefVoljin attempt to stump Machik and Legren with wonderful questions from the Twittersphere.

Finally we have a Guild Spot entry.  One of the oldest guilds on the Emerald Dream forum, the Blackmoon Tribe, tells us why we should join them.  Oh, and they have fireworks.

You can check them out at http://www.blackmoontribe.com.

Not only did we get two questions, but we also doubled up our reader emails.  One from the famed Dr. Lore and another from our regular question maker Miyagi from the Emerald Dream server.

Machik finally gets his full PvP set.  Legren did something.  And we learn what Yamino did too.

Arcane magic addictions.  Why yes, Legren knows all about it.  And let him tell you about the Blood Elves addiction to the arcane.  How they suck dry all beings that hold even the tiniest amount of arcane in their soul.

Wait, what?  We have a special guest this week?

Indeed we do!  Join us as we greet Yami, and discuss the awful, terrible, horrible.... Blood Elves?  Oh, alright, we can discuss them as the wonderful beautiful saviors they are!

We continue with our Blood Elf overlords this week.  But this time it's a tale of love... and loss!

You can read the the story a http://www.thelorecraft.com/lovelost.

Only one question this week, and again it's from our favorite Miyagi @jakeholinsworth.

But this week it's all about the races!

No guild spot this week since no one has sent us anything!

DAMMIT PEOPLE!  Let us advertise your awesome guild!

I must share with you that we have no reader emails this week.  I am indeed saddened!

It's been two weeks, but Machik still lives.  And Hearthstone has kept him company while he hasn't been able to play WoW.  Legren on the other hand, well, he's been doing Legren things.

Tonight Legren takes us on a short history of Shamanism.  Have you ever wondered how the elements do what they do?  Well, Legren is here to tell you how!

For anyone coming in during this expansion, you might think you know Gul'dan.  But you only know the Gul'dan from this timeline.  Today we talk a little bit about the Gul'dan from our own timeline, long dead before the game began.

And of course, it revolves around that damn fel magic!

A story of trolls in a blood elf city.  And it's what you would expect from trolls.  All alcohol and no work!

You can read the the story a http://www.thelorecraft.com/deathsong.

Only one question this week from Miyagi @jakeholinsworth.

And it deals with the BURNING LEGION!  Well, sort of!

No guild spot this week since no one has sent us anything!

DAMMIT PEOPLE!  Let us advertise your awesome guild!

Apparently it is all about the emails this week.  We received three of them, and they are outstanding!
