Technical difficulties.  They happen.  And this week it seemed that they would not stop.  From cutting in and out of the stream, to sounds not being perfect and often times my computer just blowing up, we did manage to push through.

And of course there was very little actual WoW this week during our week in WoW.  But there were some lovely tidbits shared none the less.

Legren was on point this week.  He did a bit of searching and found an entire storybook to share, even if we only read a bit of the first story.  Karanga is the writer, and her descriptions of the wolf who seemed to be fond of a buck are quite beautiful.  But of course we don't give away the entire story.

How can you not be excited about the beginning of time.  We continue looking through World of Warcraft Chronicle: Volume I, and discover that the Titans were once planets.  And the Naaru are literally pieces of the Light.  And that Azeroth still has a Titan within in.

A sad week indeed.  Yamino is out sick, so it was up to Legren and Machik to hold down the fort.  We did find out that Yamino was getting a well needed rest.

On the other hand, Legren and Machik were terrible at playing WoW this week.  But they had good reason.  They were too busy reading World of Warcraft: Chronicle, Volume I.  Now, before you head down the rabbit hole, there are book spoilers this week.  So beware.

So we decided to start at the beginning, and the first couple of pages of Chronicle cover the cosmology of Warcraft.

No, not cosmetology.  The blood elves have that taken care of.  We're talking about all the different magic families that thrive in Azeroth and beyond.

This week we take you into the Emerald Dream.  The Emerald Dream is the blueprint of Azeroth, what Azeroth would be without any living beings walking it's lands.  Created during the time of the Titans, druids once slept within the dream for thousands of years.  

But what has it become now?  And do the druids still slumber?

Now this is a surprise, absolutely no questions from the Twittersphere this week.  I think our regulars must be on vacation or this would never have happened.

There is nothing better than listening to Legren perfect his troll voice each week.  Though this time the story he brought to us was going to be a challenge for him.  Though he excels at male troll voice, this week he had to test out his female troll voice.

Machik finally was in WoW this week.  Playing a bit on his gnome monk and hit level 20.  Yamino has been leveling with her roommate.  It's nice to have drawn another person into the fold.  But, she is a blood elf, so there are downsides.  And finally we have Leggers who broke his monitor and crashed the game several times.  Typical Leggers.

A troll and a blood elf in the wild.  I know it sounds like a joke, but it's the focus of our fable this week.  And all three hosts get into the action of reading this week.

We knew we would eventually get to Vol'jin.  I mean, he is the Warchief and what not.  But do you really know how far back his history goes?  

Do you know which friend of his turned his back on him?  How his father died?  Or why trolls are so dead sexy?

We talk about most of that this week.

So many reader emails this week.  It's actually quite overwhelming.  But that's good.

As we start every week, we get to hear about the amazing things that Machik, Legren and Yamino have done in the World of Warcraft.

And as it seems to be happening more these past weeks, these three slackers seem to be hanging out more outside the game than inside the game. 

But fear not, I have heard rumors that they will be busier in game in coming weeks.  But again, that is merely a rumor.

Legren found a stunner of a story this week.  It seems our hero has been taken prisoner for a bounty.  But not all is as it seems.  Who will live?  Who will die?

Anyone that knows Machik and Legren, know that they have an unending hatred of the elves. Each podcast seems to bring up how haughty, obnoxious, and overdressed the elves are.

But this week Machik and Legren tone down their hate, and talk about the revered leader of the Blood Elves.  And Yamino seems appreciative of them allowing a sane discussion of the elven warrior.

Everything is backward this week.  This week Yamino managed to get into WoW and have some fun, and Legren and Machik were busy doing other things.

But fear not, it was Yamino that pushed Legren to play with dragons this week.  On the other hand Machik was busing actually working.  Ridiculous, he needs to play more WoW.

Legren has one job.  Find us a Fantasy Fable each week.  And he's very good at finding those stories.  But due to his nap this week, we lost out on our Fantasy Fable.  Remember though, if you have a story that you'd like to share, make sure to send it our way.

And next week I won't let Legren nap.

He is the official Trade Prince of the goblins, even if he did end up in that position in a shady way.  How did he manage to become the Trade Prince?  And what is all this fuss about a cookie?

This week, Machik managed to kill lots of evil Azerothian bad guys with his pig-tailed gnome.  Legren roleplayed for hours on end with his brand new guild on Wyrmrest Accord.  And Yamino, poor Yamino, was stuck in another game for an entire week.

Please keep Yamino in your thoughts as we try and bring her back to the WoW side.

This week we had an entry sent for our Fantasy Fables section.  And though it's a bit different than past fables, it's quite fascinated.  Sent to us by Jarnkoldur, it's written in verse, rather than prose.

Humans versus Orcs.  That's how this whole war really started.  And though the humans have their definitive leader in Varian Wyrnn, the orcs seem to be currently listless when it comes to strong warchiefs.

Yes, yes, Vol'jin is the Warchief of the Horde, but who speaks for the orcs?  Who will fight for the fel infused monsters that are not native to Azeroth.  That is what we try to answer this week.

Machik and Legren enjoy a bit of gnomish time alone.  And Yamino is playing another game!?!?!  Say it ain't so.

Well, it is, but at least there are dragon's involved in the game.  So that makes up for her minor absence from WoW

Now, understand that though we focus on Baine Bloodhoof, you cannot begin to talk about him without talking about his father.  So Cairne does get a bit of air time.

But it is Baine who now leads the Tauren.  It is his strength and resolve that pushes the Tauren forward, even with the setbacks they have endured.  Magatha is still out there somewhere, but with the Chief around, the Tauren have no fear.

LEGREN IS BACK!  Oh yeah, and none of us did all that much of anything in Warcraft this week.  But we have plans.  Big plans.

We continue our look at the Alliance leaders this week.  Though Greymane is a bit new to in game mechanics, his history goes all the way back to the Second War.  And no, he wasn't always part Worgen.
