King David is known by many for being a man after God's own heart. His sin against God is something that is rarely discussed, and when it is mentioned, there can be a tendency to use his fall as an example of God forgiving a great leader. But in order for us to understand why God forgave David, we must return to the Word of God and take a closer look at his sin and the state of this man's soul in his sin against God. We are going to see a beautiful picture in today's episode of God's justice and mercy, and we will see the type and shadow of the New Testament believer in a posture of repentance, which is to be the current state of every man and woman's soul today.

You may know this song. It was a personal favorite for years. The very beginning of the song, How He Loves, tells us that He is jealous for us. Yet, is this a Biblical statement? Is God jealous for you and me, or for something else that we do not understand? We are going to talk about this today, as well as the current state of some of the praise and worship music. The Bible helps us in understanding what is acceptable worship unto the Lord. I am concerned that Christ less music is being sung without us recognizing it. There is a tendency to centralize ourselves in the song rather than God. There is also a disturbing trend to sing to another Christ. Let's discuss this today.

As believers in Christ, we can anticipate being pruned spiritually. Jesus Christ spoke to His disciples in John 15, "I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit." He goes on to stress the importance of branches abiding in the vine and helping His disciples to understand that apart from Him, they could do nothing. This applies to us today as disciples of Jesus Christ.

It is now 2021, and much has taken place in the United States with the election. The pandemic continues, and there is much uncertainty abounding.  However, there is another pandemic that has made itself known even more so, and that is the pandemic of false prophecy concerning the election. Today, I will be discussing this and my concerns for what is taking place in the prophetic movement. Some people will say that if you say anything against the prophecies, you are despising prophecy, you have no faith, or that you are coming against the prophets. To these things, there is some insight I wish to share. One thing is for certain, for those of us who stand upon the Word of God as authoritative and as truth, to despise prophecy would be to despise Scripture itself.  The urgency is increasing for the church to return to Scripture for instruction and for truth.

The Cure for the Prophetic Pandemic | (lovesickscribe.com)

The truth indeed brings freedom, and there is no greater truth than the Word of God. True freedom cannot come to us apart from Christ and His Word. Troubles arise when Scripture is misappropriated, and when this happens, bondages are inadvertently created by the perpetrator of misappropriation, not by Scripture itself. There were things I once believed, things that could not be substantiated in the Word of God. Maybe you can relate. In this podcast, I share personally some things that were once bondages perceived as freedom, but thankfully the Word of God shined light on these things and brought true freedom. John 8:31,32 is applicable for every believer in Jesus Christ.

We all try to avoid it. We beg and plead at times for a cup of suffering to pass from us. Some teachings even frown upon suffering, denying that God's best is not being received. But Scripture makes it clear that suffering comes, whether through affliction or persecution, it comes.

Inner healing and deliverance. Sozo. Theophostic prayer. You may have heard these terms or even participated in inner healing sessions. What you may not recognize is this name: Agnes Sanford. Who is Agnes Sanford, and what does she have to do with inner healing?  More than you might think. I took the time months ago to read two of Sanford's books and test them against Scripture. You may be shocked to hear what was in those books and what this has to do with inner healing. May this podcast shed light on the truth and draw us back to the Word of God and to the One who truly gives us healing and delivers us from sin and the wrath of God.
