It is not Valentine’s Day, but love is in the air, especially for those with ADHD! People with ADHD are capable of having loving, healthy and long-lasting romantic relationships, however, you wouldn’t know this because of the negative data and discourse surrounding ADHD and romantic relationships. Of course, relationships are hard no matter what, add ADHD it can be harder but also incredibly wonderful. Today’s episode is a conversation with my neurotypical boyfriend. We discuss the stigmas and myths surrounding dating someone with ADHD and we dispel them. I want this episode to reassure people with ADHD that they are capable of finding someone who will love and treasure them and that their ADHD is not a burden, it is a gift. It’s time we started talking about the positives of having an ADHD partner.

This topic is very close to my heart as a young girl with ADHD who had a rocky time in her early school years.
