I spend most weeks trying to educate and empower each of you in the hopes that this will give you the tools necessary to enact positive change in Texas. This week, I’m taking a break and, instead, discussing one of the most important seasons of the year: Advent.

It’s the historic celebration of the entire Christmas season that the church has used to reorient our hearts and minds. Personally, I think we could all use a little reorientation, and I hope you take a little bit of time this week to do just that.

Ken Paxton is pushing CPS to actually start investigating cases of child abuse that involve transitioning children, putting the hot potato back onto Abbott’s agency who keep trying to get out of actually stoping the abuse that’s going on.

The Supreme Court has allowed the Texas Heartbeat to continue being enforced and the Texas Military Forces are being forced to get vaccinated or be relieved of duty. Matt Schaefer has called out Texas for not protecting these citizens and Brian Harrison has continued to push strong policy solutions that would fix this problem. Greg Abbott is refusing to call a 4th special session while unvaccinated Texans lose their jobs on a daily basis.

These issues are all discussed and addressed on this week’s podcast.

Last week Matt Krause called out Ken Paxton for his delay in an AG opinion on whether genital mutilation is child abuse as determined by CPS’s director.

Honestly, I’m not sure which opinion we want Ken Paxton to release, and today we talk about how Krause’s letter has put Ken between a rock and a hard place. Honestly, Ken seems to be joining the ranks of Stephanie Klick, Dustin Burrows, and Greg Abbott as a Republican leader delaying action on a vital issue.

I’m hopeful that within the next several weeks we can bring your news that his opinion has been released and break down what that means for Texas children currently being abused.

Do you want the good news or the bad news first?

Well, I’m giving you the good news first.

Good news is that the GENECIS clinic, also known as the group of child abusers who are sexually transitioning Texas children, have been closed down by Children’s Hospital and UT Southwestern.

Bad news is that they are doing so to hide the sexual transitioning of kids, not end it.

They said so in their statement, and today we break down their smoke screen for you.

We also have a discussion with Chris Hopper who is the new director of American Principles Project – Texas. This is the first state based APP project and it’s in Texas because we are losing the culture war here in Texas. I hope you enjoy meeting Chris and hearing why he’s jumping into the political arena.

Texas has embraced identity politics and is rationing top-tier COVID care for blacks and Hispanics while denying white and Asian Texans Monoclonal antibody treatment.

This news broke over the weekend and has rightfully ticked off a lot of Texans.

Today we talk about the problems this reveals and the frustration with the fact that Greg Abbott and his state agents are enforcing this racist regime.

Conservatives across the nation are very concerned about the fate of the Texas Heartbeat Act, after Justices Kavanaugh and Barrett spent a significant amount of their time undermining the law with their questions.

Josh Blackman is one of the most respected conservative legal minds in the nation, and he lives here in Texas. Josh was gracious enough to come on the show and expound upon his recent op-ed in Newsweek.

Today is another one of those heavy process episodes where we dive into how some Republican lawmakers in Austin killed a ban on the gender transitioning of minors.

Though they don’t make the headline, Jared Patterson, Shelby Slawson, and Jeff Leach will make cameo appearances in this saga, and Matt Krause will leap in front of an oncoming bus.

This is a topic we have covered since the beginning of our podcast, but just a few weeks ago, we exposed how Stephanie Klick was specifically involved in the killing of this legislation.

This episode picks up in the fourth quarter of the session, where several players all worked together to kill this bill.

Dustin Burrows and Dade Phelan were definitely the tip of the spear when it came to killing this life-saving policy.

When Burrows’ role was first called out, it was Chris Ekstrom and Sid Miller who teamed up, and Krause who came to Burrows’ rescue. Regardless of how much cover Burrows got, his ultimate role of slow-walking the bill was masterfully executed with an assist from Shelby Slawson and Jared Patterson, two members of the House Calendars Committee who worked together very closely this session.

Dade Phelan needed to kill the policy’s last shot at passing, and Jeff Leach stepped in to help him—right before coming out and proclaiming anger at himself for killing SB 1311.

Will be angered & saddened if SB802 and SB1311 are not calendared & reached by the deadline. These bills are common sense solutions to protect moms, children & families. They should get debate & a vote. We cannot fail this moment or fail to deliver on these vital issues. #txlege

Finally, Greg Abbott’s early silence—and obfuscation followed by a nefariously crafted letter on gender transitioning—helped ensure that children are still transitioned in Texas.

Mark Davis’ interview, which we play a segment of in this episode, is crucial in understanding just how hard Abbott worked to ensure this issue was not addressed.

Texas is allowing companies across the Lone Star State to fire their employees, Texans are asking why this is happening when Republicans control the Legislature, and State Rep. Steve Toth has now revealed that the reason we can’t pass a bill to protect patriotic Texans is that Greg Abbott doesn’t support the legislation. 

Abbott placed a bill to ban vaccine mandates on the agenda in the last week of the special session so that the bill would die, but it would still look like he supported the legislation. This is very similar to the action taken by Stephanie Klick on a ban on gender modification.

Greg Abbott also recently appointed John Scott as our new secretary of state. We talk about why this is significant and why it took so long to appoint a replacement after the Texas Senate failed to confirm Abbott’s last two appointees.

State agency employees in Texas have been advancing radical transgender ideologies with Texas children.

A couple of months ago Don Huffines called them out, they covered all of it up and hoped it would go away. Now we know how all of this happened because of some excellent reporting done by the Houston Chronicle.
