A freshly baked batch of chocolate chip cookies is pretty hard to resist. If you’re trying not to eat them, it’s probably not a good idea to even be anywhere near them. Your proximity to the cookies makes your downfall inevitable. In the Garden of Eden, God didn’t forbid Adam and Eve from looking at the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. They were free to look at it, touch it, and smell it, but they just couldn’t eat it. But Satan knew their weaknesses, and he used their freedom as a lure into sin. Today Pastor Mark encourages you to not be anywhere near sin. If you don’t want to eat, don’t hang around the kitchen!
