Episode 316: From coronavirus to politics and civil unrest and the fight for social justice, this year is proving to be a challenging time of change and transition for everyone, Madelyn included. If you find yourself paralyzed by decision in trying to determine the path you're meant to be on, it's important to be aware of what your body is telling you. In this episode Madelyn uses the closure of her relationship as a context to explore these choices, how to avoid being paralyzed by decision, and how each big choice is really a decision on what you're willing to sacrifice.

• One of biggest fears people have when faced with important decisions is, "Will I regret this?"
• Remember a past difficult decision, and consider whether you regret the decision you've made.
• Her living situation had forced her to surrender autonomy.
• Relationship was two Omegas together, two emotional beings.
• Identifying when we're given trials we're meant to walk through, versus trials where we're meant to pivot.
• The decision point was around surrendering much of what Maddy wanted, versus honoring the relationship and moving on to what's next.
• When considering the idea of staying, she could feel her body contract, and she knew it wasn't right to surrender to that.

Episode 315: A teacher, mystic and poet, Richard Rudd attended Edinburgh University where he gained a Master’s degree in literature and metaphysics. A born explorer, he has studied with great teachers in the East, traveled through the Himalayas, the Pacific, the Americas and the Arctic. He worked in the film industry in Australia, trained as a teacher of Chi Kung and meditation in Thailand and sailed across the Atlantic Ocean on a small yacht.

Throughout his adventures Richard Rudd has explored his love of writing and in 2006 he won the FISH international poetry award in Ireland. Richard's mystical journey began early in life as he experienced strange energies rushing throughout his body. This catalyzed his spiritual search. All his studies became synthesized in 2002 when he began to write and receive the Gene Keys - a vast synthesis exploring the miraculous possibilities inherent in human DNA. It took 7 years to write the book and understand its teachings and applications. Today Richard continues to study and teach the profound lessons contained in the Gene Keys.

Episode 314: Emotional and psychological abuse from our past can manifest in insidious ways throughout our lives, frequently in the form of consciously or unconsciously perpetuating that psychological abuse in our current relationships. In this episodes Madelyn explores how trauma from her upbringing has impacted how she approaches relationships today, whether her own, or through her relationship work that she practices with others.

• Relationships are Madelyn's "playground."
• It's important to define relationships through communication.
• It is not "needy" to have a desire for this identification.
• A lot of men have lost touch with the communication and check-in type of leadership.
• You can leverage the feminine to guide into conversations about relationship state or definition.
• Lead not with the complaint, but with the desire.
• One of the most dangerous places we get ourselves into is when we say we're okay with something, but then more passively punishing our partners for it.
• This punishment, such as withholding love, is actually abusive.
• In October Madelyn's parents had an argument resulting in a quick divorce.
• Madelyn is still working on how to appropriately share her story about her relationship and experiences with her parents.
• Madelyn's sense of emotions and love was very distorted growing up.
• These interactions caused Madelyn's interest in and dedication to relationships.

  • If her belief is that she can't trust the masculine, to prove her wrong, do it with fervor.

• It can be difficult to avoid feelings of persecution in environments like the current pandemic. Ask, “What does my inner child need? What am I responsible for to get out of this situation and get my autonomy back?”
• George wears a crown as a touchpoint to step into his feminine energy.  His default is acting from masculine energy, always pushing forward. The crowns can be a way of signaling and setting intention.

• Purpose is to help lightworkers to balance their masculine and feminine energies.
• George was raised in Cyprus a very religious Christian environment.
• He struggled with the big questions of life from a young age, convinced something was wrong with him, and tried to gain acceptance by trying to match himself to people’s expectations.
• Homosexuality was still taboo when he realized he was gay at age 13. He responded by trying to “become” straight, hyper-aware of his behaviors. He contemplated suicide, including writing a note to his parents.  
• As soon as he made the decision to do so and “let go,” the solution became clear: Learn to love yourself exactly as you are.  
• "Something magical happens when you declare to the universe that you want to change: the universe comes in to support you."
• Through spirituality George learned self-love, eventually leading to writing his first book.
• This led to a busy, pushed, masculine lifestyle that was causing mental and physical distress. He did a past-life regression and discovered he had been a prostitute that was murdered by a client, causing him to suppress his feminine energy in future lives.
• Masculine and feminine energies are two sides of the same coin, so focusing completely on one abuses/ignores the other.
• Sex, Gender, Sexuality, and Energy
• • Sex is biological; gender is social; sexuality is biological; energy flow within all these domains.
  • Women tend have more feminine energy than men, and men tend to have more masculine energy than women, but it’s really aspects of the same thing that runs through all of us.
• Same-sex relationships can be challenging with this energy balance.
• Connecting with nature can help us rebalance our own energy that’s confounded by social/psychological issues. Nature emulates masculine and feminine without social labels through the energy of the seasons.
• “Bathing under cosmic light” to balance masculine/feminine.  Light from sun, moon, and stars is a reflection of our own inner light. The moon’s essence itself feminine energy; sun is masculine.  Moonlight is the balance of the two - the combination of the surface of the moon and light from the sun.
• Coaching and creating coaches should be difficult and focused on improving the world, not creating a sales downstream.
• Many coaches don’t have a clear sense on their “why,” their purpose.
• George reviews his life purpose, which he has written and posted so he sees it every single day (the who, what, how, why).

Episode 311: The global pandemic has resulted in many of us having to share our spaces with difficult triggering family members who may be activating the “old you” within us - aspects of ourselves or collections of behaviors that we associate with past trauma, or that we feel are holding us back. • The benefits are exponential - the space creates more time to create, which creates more opportunity to pay for the space.
• Start with the question, "How is this affecting me?"
• We all have people in our lives that will reveal old versions of ourselves.
• Most important: You cannot control these triggering people and how they view you. You can only control your reaction.
• Disconnect from needing validation from those people.
• Being more aware and curious about what your "old you" is asking for or needing in those moments, and seek to provide it.
• "You do not have to hold everyone who is biological family as energetic family."

Episode 310: In many ways the Internet has democratized the spread of ideas and given everyone a platform and a voice. Inevitably there will be times when we won't agree with these voices and opinions, and when that disagreement is shared publicly by others, "cancel culture" can easily develop, where large groups of people collectively pull support, usually centered around a controversial statement, pattern of behavior, or things in the past. Episode 310: In many ways the Internet has democratized the spread of ideas and given everyone a platform and a voice. Inevitably there will be times when we won't agree with these voices and opinions, and when that disagreement is shared publicly by others, "cancel culture" can easily develop, where large groups of people collectively pull support, usually centered around a controversial statement, pattern of behavior, or things in the past. In this episode Madelyn explores the distinction between standing up for our values, and the Ego-driven need for separation.

Cancel culture can be a way we skip over the hard work of compassion.

When you're in the public eye, when you're wrong, it's publicly wrong.

Participation in cancel culture may be rooted not in altruism or enlightenment, but Ego, which thrives on separation.

None of these ideas are intended to dismiss anyone's personal feelings, but an ask for broader awareness and gentleness.

Ask permission before engaging in a dialogue, even with friends - when people say yes to something, they are no longer on the defense.
