For our 9th episode, I had the pleasure of chatting to Zeina Hamad, a wife, mum of 2 boys and now an author, who has created a book series and got it published. With no experience in the publishing world, she worked with book publishers, illustrators and printers and managed to get her book series to market. Her background is in teaching, but loves to write and create stories for kids. She talks about the challenges she has faced, tips to help others and what she has planned for the book series in the future.
Zeina gives a very honest and humble insight into her journey and hopes she can inspire other mums to do the same and make an idea come to life.
The books series is called Matti & Massi Missions. Please visit her site https://mattimassimissions.com/ and her instagram handle https://www.instagram.com/mattimassimissions/ for more info.
But more importantly, you can buy her books online!
All feedback welcome on the podcast, so please keep listening, sharing and subscribing. Thanks Guys!
Our 8th episode is on the martial art of Jujitsu, a subject that has really captured my imagination. I believe creativity can be found anywhere, and the more I look at Jujitsu the more creativity within it I discover. I was fortunate enough to have time with 'Coach Mumtaz' from the Royce Gracie academy in Dubai. His experience in martial arts, life and coaching is very unique, and his insights on the creative side of Jujitsu was really inspiring.
Enjoy the show.

Our 5th episode is on Designing coffee. I sat down with the 'cool as ice' Leon Surynt from Nightjar to talk about one of my favourite subjects, Coffee. I think of Leon as 'Mad F&B scientist', who is always crafting something special to give to the community, but he is also a business builder who is on a constant journey of discovery in Food, Beverage and Design.
Leon talks about how he started out in the business back in his home town of wellington, NZ. We also deep dive into his processes with Nightjar, coffee crafting and cold brew, tea making, coffee sustainability, Coffee pricing, as well as advice to people thinking of starting out in coffee.
It was a bumpy start to the show, as Leon felt parched, so after satisfying his thirst we quickly got the show on the road. I hope you love this episode as much as I did.
Ps Please send us your feedback to [email protected]. All feedback welcome.

Nasif is a founder of a business consulting firm providing Cultural Intelligence workshops and expert advice on Arab and Emirati culture and doing business in the Middle East.
Nasif is a very knowledgeable and inspiring person, can talk about sensitive topics in a friendly way – including culture, religion, languages, and heritage, and makes you laugh along the way. It was a pleasure to sit back and listen to him and his learnings, and hope you like it too.

Sarah's experience comes from Copywriting initially and brings a wealth of knowledge to this theme, that is valuable for anyone starting or has started a business, and wants to keep differentiating themselves from the competition. So, Sit back, get a drink and we hope you enjoy this session.
