The theater can be truly transformational. We both started performing at a young age, and have continued into our adulthood. Our son even got to star in his first musical with his momma as 1776’s Martha Jefferson, 7 months in utero! On today’s episode, we dive into different productions we’ve been lucky enough to be a part of, and discuss everything from acting in plays and musicals to directing in school and our community theater’s kids’ camp. Theater and the arts are so important, and we always get a little emotional thinking about how the stage can change a kid’s life. We round out the episode with a “this or that” using some of our favorite musicals and plays, and Kate’s sweet tea is on theme with a little something from Broadway!
