The Maharaja Raj Dheshi (formerly known as WWE Champion Jinder Mahal) returns to TIJ to talk about his new character and gimmick, his new mindset, and his recent debut on the indies! Raj details his recent (and second) release from WWE in June, and why it was really not a surprise to him (unlike the first time). He talks about his promo segment with The Rock from earlier this year and how that all came together. He details the events leading up to his WWE Championship win and run, how and when he found out, what it was like working with Randy Orton, and who told him when he was dropping the title. He also shares stories from the live events he booked in India for The Great Khali and what it was like to put on stadium shows in that country. Plus, Raj discusses his early days wrestling in Calgary, training with Rick Titan and Bad News Allen, and the WWE extra work and clinics that led to his first signing with the company.
