The Majority Report with Sam Seder

It's Hump Day on the Majority Report

On today's show:

The government has shut down as Republicans continue to spread lies about undocumented immigrants receiving free health care under the Democrats initial offer.

Former OMB Manager under Trump, Mick Mulvaney is confronted on News Nation by Brian Tyler Cohen about this myth of free health care for the undocumented and he refuses to answer and ends the segment.

Two GOP senior appropriators are quoted in Bloomberg saying it wouldn't make sense for the Democrats to agree to spending bill.

ProPublica reporter on housing, Jesse Coburn joins the program to discuss Trump's war on public housing.

New York's Lt. Gov Antonio Delgado joins us to discuss his campaign to challenge his own boss Kathy Hochul in the 2026 gubernatorial Democratic primary.

In the Fun Half:

On All In With Chris Hayes, AOC emphasizes that the GOP are weaker than we think and that's why they are doubling down on cruelty in public.

Representative Brendan Boyle (D-PA) uses Speaker Mike Johnson's district as an example of how high health care premiums will increase under the GOP spending bill.

Tim Pool wrestles with himself about the differences between the collateral murder videos from wiki-leaks and Trump bombing fishermen in the Caribbean.

Jim Breuer tries to have a serious talk about Jimmy Kimmel's suspension but cannot restrain himself from turning into a screaming lunatic.

All that and more.

The Congress switchboard number is (202) 224-3121. You can use this number to connect with either the U.S. Senate or the House of Representatives.

It's News Day Tuesday on the Majority Report

On toady's show:

Senator Chuck Schumer and Representative Hakeem Jeffries held a post-meeting press conference with Trump, where they declined to warn the public about the dangers of the spending bill and instead focused on procedure and decorum. Hours later, Trump posted a racist AI-generated video depicting Jeffries in a sombrero. The next day, Jeffries responded with a hollow display of self-serving bravado.

Argentine historian and chair of the History Department at the New School, Frederico Finchelstein joins the program to discuss the Trump's administrations bail out of Milei's Argentina.

In The Fun Half:

Illinois governor JB Pritzker urges people to film, document and narrate ICE activities as the only way to hold these abusers to account is to have it on film.

Pete Hegseth holds military top brass hostage as he performs his one-man show on the Warriors Ethos.

Trump closes out the Hegseth rally with a sleepy, confused ramble about stairs and fascism.

Ezra Klein doubles down on his claim that Democrats should run pro-life candidates in red states in a conversation with Ta-Nahisi Coates.

Then, Jeet joins to talk about the rising tide of authoritarianism and how ill-equipped democrat politicians are for the moment. Also, Kamala's new book exposes the rot that makes them so.

Then, RM Brown joins us to take the pulse of the newsfeed. PBD and crew want to place Candace on the Map of Consciousness. Megyn Kelly turns her attention to witchcraft.

It's Emmajority Thursday on the Majority Report

On today's show:

Trump has been "Triple Sabotaged" at the UN as the escalator fails to work as he and the First Lady entered the stair well, fortunately Melania was not hurt. Then his teleprompter cut out, and he was forced to "speak from the heart". If that wasn't horrible enough, it turns out his microphone was significantly quieter than others.

Trump wrote a heart-wrenching account of the tragedy on Truth Social in which he spares no detail.

Jesse Watters suggests that we bomb the UN over this devasting attack on our president.

Investigative journalist, Ken Klippenstein joins the show to discuss the Trump administration's manipulation of recent shootings to bolster their war on trans people. Follow Ken's work at here.

Reporter at Responsible Statecraft, Connor Echols joins us to discuss his new piece, How a Little-Known Embassy Aid Hijacked US Isreal Policy.

In the Fun Half:

We are joined by Brandon Sutton and Matt Binder.

Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters resigns to take a position in the private sector as union buster just a day after announcing TPUSA chapters for every High School in the state.

Adam Friedland hypnotizes all the other panelists on Piers Morgan while asking for empathy for the oft bullied Donald Trump.

The daughter of a New Mexican state senator calls out her father for accepting Israeli money and peddling their propaganda.

All that and more.

It's Hump Day on Majority Report

On today's show:

MAGA is crashing out over Jimmy Kimmel's return to late night as they try to frame his firing as a "business decision" and not as a result of government censorship.

Trump fires off a rage fueled post to Truth Social where he threatens to sue ABC for putting him back on air. Does that sound like a business decision?

Baltimore Sun reporters Hannah Gaskill and Dan Belson join us to discuss the right-wing takeover of the 187-year-old paper by the chairman on Sinclair Broadcasting. Since the acquisition the owners have union busted and installed gag orders on the workers. Please take a moment to participate in the Baltimore Sun's letter drive.

Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer continues his media tour where he reiterates over and over again that he has nothing to offer and his plan for the Democrats is to lay perfectly still and hope that no one no spots him in the weeds.

In the Fun Half:

Katie Miller and Jesse Watters seem to mock Stephen Miller's virility with an odd metaphor. Trouble in paradise?

We take a few phone calls including friend of the show Kowalski from Nebraska.

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins pretends that there is nothing they can do to help the rising costs of foods.

Farmers are being hit hard by the Trump administration, and even the reddest representatives are facing backlash as illustrated by outraged attendees at Rep. Mark Alford's town hall in Harrisburg, Missouri.

Oklahoma State Superintendent Ryan Walters announces every high school in the state will have TPUSA chapters.

All this and more.

It's Fun Day Monday on the Majority Report

On today's show:

The Trump administration is hinting at a link between Acetaminophen and autism.

Border Czar Tom Homan was investigated for receiving $50,000 in cash back in 2024 for a promise of employment in the Trump Administration. Oddly, after Trump's victory the DOJ shut down the FBI investigation.

Professor of immigration and citizenship law at the University of Virginia, Amanda Frost joins the show to discuss her book You Are Not American: Citizen Stripping from Dred Scott to the Dreamers.

In the Fun Half:

Despite saying himself that we are on a path to a dictatorship, Chuck Schumer still won't commit to a government shutdown or doing anything at all.

When asked about how House Democrats can resist fascism Hakeem Jeffries says the answer is more protest, more speeches and offers nothing else.

The Charlie Kirk Memorial in Glendale, Arizona had Donald Trump feeling like dancing.

Stephen Miller addresses the Kirk mourners with a Goebbels inspired speech.

The patriots leaving the memorial left an incomprehensible amount of garbage throughout the streets of Glendale.

All that and more.
