    Show Notes and Links:
    Corrections:
The limit for Bitcoin is 21 million and not 21 billion. However, Bitcoins can be divided up into a large number of pieces, so there should be enough to go around :)
Ethereum does not have "Proof of work", not " Open working", (APOLOGIES!!!!!)
2020 will not be when the last Bitcoin will be mined, but however when the next "halving event" will take place, (this basically makes it harder to get coins).

Correction – When was Blockchain invented?
Blockchain itself was introduced by an unknown person, or group people known as Satoshi Nakamoto in 2008. However Cryptography which is the computer science Blockchain evolved from, dates back to the 1970’s.
    Correction - Bread gate
It was indeed our former Prime Minister David Cameron, who didn’t know the price of a loaf of bread and not George Osborne. Sorry George!!!!!!

  • Episode One: What is Wealth? - ISA Saving
    Show Notes:
    Corrections:
UK Inflation around 2.9% so not so low - given that target inflation is usually 2% for the country - we believe we said it was 1% or so during the show.
    Fee's:
All funds have fee's which are charged by the fund management firm e.g. JP Morgan Asset Management will charge you 0.5% per year. But that’s all you should pay.
When I said you shouldn't pay fee’s for investment advise, I mean one off fee’s such account opening fee’s or subscription fee’s, redemption fee’s etc. Most platforms will not charge any additional fee’s; however more customised wealth managers will charge you fee’s in addition to what the fund management firm will charge.
Children are only liable for tax on savings income above 17,500. The form referred to (R85) is no longer in use.
Child Trust Funds were discontinued in January 2011, and replaced by Junior ISAs.
